^I like that place. Been there only twice or so (saw Fareako play one time) but it has a good feel to it.

Who still lives on campus at 21?
12/17/2010 2:05:41 PM
its a reflection of terrible business choices.theres like 8 pizza places. no legit nightlife place there thats worth a damn for the little kiddies on campus in the dorms.you have to remember as well...campus/dorm bound college students arent really the best demographic to put a bar up for thats 21+ since most of those kids are <21.
12/17/2010 2:06:29 PM
move the drinking age back to 18 like it should be and Hillsborough will be alive again
12/17/2010 2:09:14 PM
When I lived on campus, about the only place we would hang out at on Hillsborough was NY Pizza. Other restaurants are too expensive and bars are pointless (21+). Some people would go to the Western Bowling alley of course, which after its renovations is a great place to hang out at, but that's about it. Hell most every undergrad knows what City Limits is not because its location, but because it is open to <21. Put more <21 clubs on Hillsborough and you will get the nightlife. Till then they will drive or bus to places like City Limits that are closer to downtown.[Edited on December 17, 2010 at 2:12 PM. Reason : lkj]

okay.. i got nothing on that.

Yeah, most of the over 21 students live on Gorman/Tryon/Avent Ferry area south of campus. A few live in the houses behind Hillsborough St but not the majority. Frats are south of campus. If you live in those areas you might as well go downtown because that's where everything happens at night.95% of businesses on Hillsborough St do their business during the day because there's really no nightlife at all.

they literally had my blood on their hands... easily could have sued, but i didn't because one of the managers at the time was one of my friends
12/17/2010 4:56:35 PM
I am unaware of this blood incident. Elaborate please? I used to be a farmhouse regular a couple years ago and I loved the place. I could go there just about any night of the week and find some friends to chill with. Farmhouse was also responsible for introducing me to the only girl I've really ever been in love with. Also, Marc is a good dude.

Goodnight sweet prince...

Damn, Biofreak70 , that's fucked up. if that's what you consider a "friend" i'd hate to run in your crowd.what your "friend" did was just one step short of dumping your unconscious body in front of the entrance to the E.R. actually may have been worse. at least the ER would have given enough of a fuck to have done a full neuro assessment. you could still have long term repercussions from a brain injury

hillsborough street is prime for a 18+ club.if you ever went to ECU as an under you know what i am talking about. they have an awesome college nightlife. everyone gets drunk at home and then takes a cab or bus to downtown and hits the dance club. those places make a shitload of money on cover charges and EVERYONE GETS LAID
