Smoke two joints in the morning

^^I mean, yeah, he's a criminal, and the grower is a criminal. There's no doubt that what they did was illegal. The laws should be repealed. You're not getting trolled, but you do need to honestly ask yourself why you think marijuana should be illegal to grow and sell.[Edited on January 24, 2011 at 10:21 PM. Reason : ]

All the interviewed students were thinking, "Damn, that's a lot of money. What am I doing with this college bullshit..."
1/25/2011 12:31:48 AM
Maybe he was paying his way through college like all those strippers.lol, j/k.
1/25/2011 12:35:15 AM
This is interesting. Somebody has noted that if he was really big time, he wouldn't have been transporting the stuff himself......but I dunno. Like, is he supposed to pay/convince somebody else to do it for him? And if they screw him over or mess it up, is he supposed to have them murdered to send a message to his other henchmen? Are there like marijuana junkies who would do his bidding? If he really did make a quarter of a million dollars in a year on marijuana (He didn't sell other stuff? Really?), he was probably very hardworking and efficient in some ways...but also in way over his head in another way...COME ON, MADE FOR TV MOVIE!
1/25/2011 1:54:19 AM
drugs dont really work that way when it comes to payment.he probably didnt put any of his money upfront...he may get it and then sell it to someone else who gets more of a profit from it on the larger scale. the top of the food chain.the people that are at the top dont have any part of the dealing and transport though, they just manage the places, people and ways of the money.I've done a study on this awhile back so thats why i get a little bit of the system but have NO vlue how it really works for each group.its alot like a ponzi scheme i guess, hard to explain.still think its dumb to drive cross country with it.[Edited on January 25, 2011 at 2:17 AM. 1/25/2011 2:10:46 AM
^I feel you--for the most part. But according to the article, he wired 70 grand to California and then flew there to pick up the drugs. So if he didn't put any of his money upfront, then he musta gotten money advanced from people (people who were willing to pay in advance because it was a super good deal). Are you saying he was a transporter, and there is somebody else who was actually making the 70 thousand dollar purchase? That does make sense.[Edited on January 25, 2011 at 3:01 AM. Reason : Not as exciting for NCSU though!]
1/25/2011 2:32:41 AM
victim? don't feed us that bullshit. I don't give a fuck what you, or he, thinks of the law. the law is the law. it's easy to follow, and in this case, it's also easy to break without being caught. this kid, and any other pothead who gets caught, aren't victims. they knew their actions were illegal and were dumb enough to get caught. and no, this doesn't mean I agree with the law, because I don't. I don't agree with many laws but that doesn't give me the right to break them. this druggie victim bullshit is old, has no foundation, and will get you smokers nowhere.

1/25/2011 12:41:14 PM
None taken. It would be nearly impossible for anyone that defends eleusis to offend me because I'm very unlikely to place any value in what they say.Furthermore, I haven't even stated an opinion about the topic of this thread so I'm not really sure what you're talking about.]

http://www.drugscience.org/Archive/bcr2/Appendix_State_MJ_Prod.pdfNC is listed as the 5th largest producer of marijuana in the continental US, and the 2nd and 3rd largest producers are our Appalachian neighbors Tennessee and Kentucky. Combine this with the steady influx of imported drugs flowing through I-85 and I-95 en route to the Northeast, I'd say there is more than enough marijuana to be found locally.By crossing state lines, he turned this into a federal case with a federal sentence, so he'll do 90% of his time. He could have gotten off with much less if he didn't decide to drive 3 days across the country with a felony in the trunk. He should have done like everyone else and just made up some name and mentioned Humboldt when selling it, and no one would have known the difference.

i'm sure there's at least some similar quality weed produced in NC. I'm certain of it. Would he have gotten that kind of deal on it? Guess not. great risks, great rewards... seems like he'd done it a couple times before, he had a good run. shoulda kept his mouth shut though.
1/25/2011 2:20:00 PM
I'm quite positive that you can indeed get the primo quality weed in North CarolinaHowever I doubt you're going to find a lot of people in North Carolina willing to dole out 26 pounds of headies for $168 an ounce
1/25/2011 2:22:52 PM
not to mention, if he didn't know the right people to get it from in-state, he wouldn't have access to a local crop
