Kat, not to rain on your parade but the strawberry banana smoothie (medium) has 260 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 60 grams of carbs. So not too bad but kind of crazy for some fruit and low fat yogurt.

yea i looked it up the other day when i got it (the small, which is still like 210) :/but it was my lunch so i didn't feel AS bad about it haha.[Edited on January 25, 2011 at 7:34 PM. Reason : .]

Hahaha smoothie don't hold me for long enough to be considered a meal.

i know, it was kind of a pathetic lunch BUT it gave me an idea to try making them at home for breakfast...a healthier more filling version, of course. i mean that has to be possible. if you throw a thing of light yoplait yogurt and a banana and some ice and oj or oatmeal together it has to be better for you than the mcd's version, right? i would hope. because i have rediscovered smoothies and i liiiiike

Instead of yogurt (which has a ton of sugar) use 0% Greek yogurt. It has more protein and less carbs. Also throw in some granola or nuts in the smoothie. With the fruit it will keep you fuller longer. This is what I make every morning. 1 banana2 handfuls blueberries1/8 cup granola1/4 cup skim milk1/4 cup 0% Greek yogurtSome iceBlend.[Edited on January 25, 2011 at 7:48 PM. Reason : Spell]

they have non-fat milk. I always ask for it. It's even on the coffee menu-boardALSO, the new maple-fruit oatmeal shit is pretty tasty. It was a little mushy for my preferences, but still good with the fruit. Although I like to make mine at home, but just wanted to try it![Edited on January 26, 2011 at 12:48 AM. Reason : ]

1) Bojangles2) Hardees3) Chick-fil-a4) McDonalds......5) Burger KingMcdonalds buiscuts aren't any better than BK's but they get points for having a big variety of breakfast foods. It's funny in my tiny little town (2000 people, 12000 in the whole county) there's a hardees and a BK right next to each other, the hardees has a line wrapped around the drive through and a full parking lot from 7 am to 10:30 every day, while BK might have 2 people inside and a single car in the drive through.

I wish there was a bojangles closer to me. All I have is a McDonald's and Burger King.

I like bojangle's food, but I do not like the biscuits. I'm sorry. I know I've disappointed you all.
1/26/2011 11:18:21 AM
i wish a bos was closer to me toothe closest one is 567 miles awaya bit far for a road trip
1/26/2011 11:19:38 AM
^^ What don't you like about their biscuits? Just trying to understand.
1/26/2011 11:34:50 AM
As expected, you have no rational reasoning for not liking Bojangle's biscuits.
1/26/2011 1:48:21 PM
i don't like them because they aren't fluffy/flaky enough and they are frequently overcooked
1/26/2011 3:31:28 PM
i think mcdonald's has OK breakfast, especially when i'm running late & running low on dollar bills. i'd rather have bojangles or chick-fil-a but i don't pass a boj on the way to work and c-f-a doesn't have a $ menu.
