Doeoj those will be my next pairI can't decide between the gold or the silver tho
6/19/2011 1:57:10 PM
I had a pair of fake Oakley's when I was growing up back in the day. Now, I have a pair of Smith Parallel Max sunglasses, but they're pretty much exclusively for cycling. For my daily shades, I rock a pair of $20 no-brand generics with no markings but "China" on it.

Costas FTW:

6/20/2011 8:00:38 AM
I still have/wear a pair that I got way back in High School.
6/20/2011 8:03:40 AM
I, too, rock the Wayfarers. I have two pair. One traditional that I am willing to be more risky with and wear in the ocean, etc... and a pair of square framed ones that are polarized. for some reason, they no longer sell the square framed ones polarized.

seriously ? oaklies are for douche bags??look at what else has been posted. Oaklies are about the most functional sunglasses on the market. I'd much rather drop 75 bucks on a frame and 100+ on lenses...I mean i have 3 pairs of glasses, 2 Oaklies (one for work and one for driving) and 1 pair of maui jims for when i feel like looking like a douche bag.

^^ if someone on tww owns a brand of something, someone on tww will hate on them for it. Oakleys can be very functional for those of us who actually go out and are active with our lives. I wouldn't be opposed to buying Oakleys in the future.
6/20/2011 10:28:23 AM
^^Fuck you. I wanted blue lenses and the white doesn't get as hot as the black does when youre out on the water all day.
6/20/2011 1:25:28 PM
tortoise shell w/ green mirror glass ftw.
6/20/2011 1:26:12 PM

Bought Oakleys today. Thanks tww.Got some polarized active wear ones for a discounted price because they are an older style.

6/20/2011 2:02:49 PM

6/20/2011 2:04:26 PM

6/20/2011 2:13:03 PM
sea strikers are pretty good value
6/20/2011 2:14:46 PM
i used to rock some oakely 5s back in the day. now i'm kickin it with some arnettes.
6/20/2011 2:24:12 PM
i typically wear arnettes or sea strikers. also have a pair of bolle sunglasses that i really like.
6/20/2011 2:27:51 PM
I wear Gargoyles exclusively.
6/20/2011 2:30:04 PM
There are few things that make me want to push someone off a tall building or bridge more than white sunglasses...especially on dudes.Dude on my softball team has some like this, but I feel like the O is way larger (maybe it is in my brain because I'm so angry when I see them) UGH
6/20/2011 2:30:49 PM
so much hate
6/20/2011 2:39:03 PM
i sorta want some costas...but...
6/20/2011 2:48:15 PM
sea strikers look like costas, have decent polarized lenses, and cost not much over $20
6/20/2011 2:49:21 PM
None of these are as ugly as some sunglasses I've seen lately.
6/20/2011 2:51:55 PM
but i don't want to be an oakley wearing douche bag
6/20/2011 2:51:59 PM
sea strikers are not oakleys[Edited on June 20, 2011 at 2:55 PM. Reason : there are more than 2 kinds of sunglasses]
6/20/2011 2:55:03 PM
my bad...i wasn't paying attention when i read this thread and thought they were just a style of oaklies
6/20/2011 2:56:41 PM

6/20/2011 2:58:37 PM

6/20/2011 2:59:07 PM

6/20/2011 4:16:05 PM
armstrong cheated and has no balls btwliterally has no balls
6/20/2011 4:18:33 PM
I'll admit, I love the m-frame style oakleys. Though I haven't bought an actual pair in a long time, just cheap knock-offs since my kids are always breaking them.Anyone have any suggestions on something similar? Something that wraps around the side of the eye and doesn't have a frame around the entire lense? I can't stand the idea of wearing sunglasses that don't cover the sides of my eyes.
6/20/2011 4:26:36 PM
6/20/2011 5:05:24 PM
I've never paid more than $4 for a pair of sunglasses[Edited on June 20, 2011 at 5:24 PM. Reason : Had some Chris Sabo Rec-Specs when I was a kid]
6/20/2011 5:20:59 PM
^^really? They are the only style I've ever liked. I've never seen a pair with frames around the entire lense that I've liked. And I don't watch NASCAR so I wouldn't know about that Still won't buy a pair with frames all the way around though...[Edited on June 20, 2011 at 5:52 PM. Reason : f]
6/20/2011 5:52:25 PM
generic aviators for everyday usepolarized Smiths for golf and long car rides
6/20/2011 5:55:34 PM
what's wrong with a pair like these? other than the fact that the design/model is called "Inmate"
6/20/2011 6:00:29 PM
Those actually aren't bad since the frames are so small. Seems like most frames are all really big today so I could possibly live with those. Assuming the curvature allows the glasses to wrap around the side of my eyes that is.Not exactly getting me excited, but I could "put up with them."
6/20/2011 6:08:57 PM
I don't do oakley. I wore these today[Edited on June 20, 2011 at 11:12 PM. Reason : ]
6/20/2011 11:10:05 PM
^^yeah i prefer the wire style Oakleys, they look a little less garish than the eye jackets or whatever. but i always break them so i don't buy them anymore.
6/20/2011 11:14:41 PM
i am not into sunglasses... so i thought it would be fun to go through this thread. skimmed the entire thread.sad how many people have such small minds.
