Hibbert: I don't understand. Are you saying you and Barbara are bad neighbors? George: No! That's not Bar and me, it's them! Ned: Who, Maude and me? George: No, the man and his boy. You know, the -- the boy is named Bart. I don't know the name of the man. Bar! What's the name of the man?Barbara: [off-camera] I'm not getting involved, George. George: Look, just never mind. I thought the banner was pretty straightforward, but I'll just take it down.

Just politely tell them you're not interested in having a conversation. What do you think you're going to accomplish here? They've been trolled before.

No, you only win by pulling off a threesome with them. Everything else you could do falls short of this. And . . . GO!

well I assume the start of it would be to bring up all the stuff science has proven wrong then maybe move on all the bad history stuff then prob to the more philosophical arguments about where religion ultimately gets humanity but if they send a the cute sweet innocent girls to do it like they did for me then just be polite about it

You tell me where that scripture mentions the word "trinity" or the idea that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all the same being. It's hard to reason with this.....[Edited on June 28, 2011 at 8:34 PM. Reason : .]

Yes, I've seen that image before, but I'm not really sure what you're reasoning. I mentioned John 1 which mentions that Christ is God. The Word taking on flesh is the Son, God is the Father. Sorry the word trinity isn't directly used, but the word rapture appears a total of zero times in the Bible as well. I don't base my interpretation on preconceived societal notions, I base it on the exact meaning of the scripture. And I am always in the process of learning different things from a variety of different sources and people. The word of God is like a living work as it is constantly being expounded upon. You'll have to forgive me if biblical logic appears circular to you. This is why salvation is based upon faith not works. That being said, this does not mean that blind acceptance in what others say is what needs to be had, but a careful, lifelong exposition of the word of God, a constant study and growth of faith is an important aspect of faith.I recommend you read this if you still wish to understand the trinity and it's function: http://www.biblebelievers.com/Devries2.htmlIf you do not read it I'll assume you are not interested in the truth of the scripture or what it has to say.[Edited on June 28, 2011 at 9:06 PM. 1) If God looks out for Christians, why aren't Christians more successful in their goal of spreading Christianity, evidenced by a decrease in people identifying themselves as Christians? Shouldn't God be helping Christians, at the bare minimum, successfully spread his word? What does this failure mean about God? Does this mean God doesn't intervene in our lives?2) If God's will is inevitable, why doesn't God Will for more people to become Christians? If God loves us, why does Revelations predict the downfall and doom of humanity? Does God choose not to fight the Devil, or does the Devil's power rival God's?3) If God helps Christians, why doesn't God help Christians find stable relationships, evidenced by the dissimilar (and worse by some studies) divorce rates among Christians?4) (if they say it's the work of the Devil that causes people to ignore Christ) Does that mean that the Devil's power rival's God?ORWhy do other religions have miracles too?5) When Moses visited the Pharoah, the Pharoah's god turned his scepter into a snake, does this mean other gods have miraculous powers too?6) Did the native Americans/isolated people living in 4000BC all go to Hell? if they say yes -> God seems pretty evil and cruel, get out of my houseif they say no -> Why would God make it easier for them to go to Heaven than modern-day man?other arguments about what happened, you'll have to think on your feet7) Mark and Luke both say that blaspheming The Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin, does that mean i should just not bother with Christ if I have ever at any point in my entire life disrespected the Holy Spirit? (LUKE 12:10, MARK 3:29 if they ask)8) Will I remember by atheist mother/father/brother/spouse in Heaven? If YES: Won't that make me sad? Won't I miss them? etc... if NO: Doesn't that change fundamentally who i am? Why would my life on earth matter if I lose everything that makes me, me? [Edited on June 28, 2011 at 9:11 PM. Reason : ]

If they are so-called literalists, just ask them questions about the age of the earth, and dinosaurs, and fossils, corral reefs, impact craters, plate tectonics, etc.

God gave us free will and that answers most of your questions. Free will to choose him or the devil. The devil was given power by God and exercised his free will to use that power for evil. If God, defeated the devil, he would be going against free will. So God has made a rule for himself to play by. The mystery is, why did god give us free will? They say its because he loves us but whats the point of making us in the first place. Is god simply playing a game to see what we will do? If this is all true, I would say that God is no longer all powerful because he has limited his own power and apparently can't undo free will as evident by things like the holocaust, mass starvation, and war.
