1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of tea during the work week. (8)I fire up my espresso machine for a cup or two on Saturdays and Sundays (2-4)
8/5/2011 8:10:40 AM
I used to have 2-3 caffeinated sodas a day (and probably 1 or 2 without) plus one or two teas. Unless I went out to eat, then I would have like 7. I was the guy waiters probably hate because they're getting me a refill every few minutes. But a couple of months ago I stopped drinking sodas but I just drink tea instead. Probably 3-4 teas a day so between 20-30/wk. Its sweetend with artificial sweetener so no sugar but now I have a higher risk of cancer . I don't drink anything else with caffein except in the fall when the coffee shops come out with the seasonal/holiday blends I'll get a kick and have a couple of those each week.

Past few weeks I've been cutting out all caffeine. It hasn't been as difficult as I thought but I still have iced tea from time to time.

In a week? Dang. Coffee every morning, usually a 16 oz mug so that probably counts for 2. (If I forget to make coffee and I'm in a hurry to get to work I'll sub mountain dew) If I bring my lunch to work, I usually bring 2 cans of soda. If I go out, I'll probably have sweet tea or coke and get at least 2 refills. Once I'm done with work I rarely drink soda, so maybe add 2-3 per week for the off nights. (2 coffee * 7) + (2.5 soda * 5) + (3 extra) =25 per week. plus it's a rare night that I don't have either a beer or a glass of wine with dinner. Sometimes two. I think my beverage intake is, to put it nicely, less than healthy...
8/9/2011 5:56:47 PM
maybe 3-5? it used to be upwards of 20-30, but i stopped drinking soft drinks cold-turkey. now it's just an occasional cup of hot chocolate at work (if the a/c is too cold) and maybe some sweet tea.
8/9/2011 7:13:09 PM
Between one and three a day.
8/9/2011 7:21:51 PM

i dont drink coffee everyday, i only drink diet coke with its mixed with vodka and i drink red bull or 5 hour energy maybe once a week...maybeso on the days i drink coffee, i have 1-2 giant cups which is actually about 5 measured cupsand if i am drinking alcohol i will have up to 3 mixed drinks, usually 2and only the medium sized redbull or 1 5 hour energyin between i might have a couple glasses of water. if i am in the office sitting at a desk i will drink a lot more water but normally i'm running around and changing locations often so i only get water at lunch, dinner and before bed i drink a glassi don't consume nearly enough liquid and probably live in a constant state of dehydration

0Soda is about the only thing with caffeine that I'd consider drinking. After a few years of not drinking soda I found that it was a bit heavy on the sugar and made me a bit ill. I'll still drink of a can of soda from time to time, maybe on the order of 1 can every other month.

caffeine causes muscle contractions, which increases the amount of lactic acid your body produces...combine this with caffeine's diuretic effects and some sensitive folks who also do not take in enough water to replace that which is lost (and which also serves to dilute the lactic acid) can experience a burning sensation when they pee[Edited on August 11, 2011 at 9:20 AM. Reason : could also be the clap]

I drink at least one, probably two cups of coffee a day (including weekends). I'll throw in a tea or a coke/dr pepper about once or twice a week. So I'd say anywhere from 15-20.Sounds kinda bad...but it's 90% coffee. Might be a lot of caffeine, but I do use splenda and non-fat creamer.
