I don't think most people would be honest about a huge credit card debit
10/16/2011 9:48:22 PM
No credit card debt
10/16/2011 9:53:30 PM
it's funny. b/c 'more debt' = 'more power to the 1%'
10/16/2011 9:54:24 PM
Nothing outside of a car loan that will be paid off early next year or so.

10/17/2011 7:41:48 AM
at the moment, none.Looking to buy myself a house in the next year or so though, so I'll report back then (probably in the $100k debt range then)
10/17/2011 7:53:00 AM
last month I finished paying off ~$10,000 in credit card debt. yeah it was dumb to rack up that much, but I'm proud that I paid it off - it took about 2.5 years now I just have student loans

-Credit Card: $9000 (2.5 months unemployed in 2011), and frivolous things-$145k Student Loans (undergrad and grad).-$89 to Wake County Libraries for overdue charges and lost books from 2009Plan of Action:-I work full-time at Duke, 2 part time jobs at Southpoint, should clear Credit Cards by May-Student Loans, still in forbearance b/c I made pitiful $$ last year, but once no credit cards, I can swing $1700/month payment-Paying off Library next week, and I've felt the most guilt about this one-If I don't need it, I don't buy it, if I can't steal it, I don't need it.
12/15/2011 3:45:08 PM

Yes to $145K, all federal loans, plan to get a job in public sector soon, with the public service 10 years, 120 consecutive payments (income based or whatever payment plan agreement you have) forgiveness plan. Grad school took longer than anticipated (shit happens), I travelled abroad for research a few times, but I don't regret it. Undergrad, my family was pretty poor, so only have $18K for NCSU. But I'm inheriting a house, so don't plan to buy a new one, and I'm okay with what I owe. And if I don't get a public service job, I pay what I can, when I can.
12/15/2011 4:30:39 PM
$0 debt. also, 0$ profitat least I am not 1/4 million in debt fuck
12/15/2011 4:40:05 PM

12/15/2011 5:09:59 PM
^^ yeah we are right at $250kive been paying on mine for a few years and will have it paid fairly soon. my wifes payments will start in a couple months but we've consolidated the loans and will begin an income based repayment with the balance dropped after 10 years.other than that though, our cars are paid off and are credit cards are almost there (which we used when we moved here and payed rent in two cities for 3 months)[Edited on December 15, 2011 at 6:22 PM. college debt and costs will continue to go up as long as the government keeps handing out loans like they are candy.[Edited on November 16, 2012 at 10:54 AM. Reason : .]
