This thread is a perfect example of why "today's students can't pay their student loans".[Edited on April 23, 2012 at 10:14 PM. Reason : ]

chyeah really. and she wants to go back to school, that $140 could be so much better spent on getting an education, perhaps taking a personal finance class. I'm pretty sure Taco is peeing in Frodo's old kitty litter box. w.o.w.

bahaha, in all honesty, thats why i left it there, for my 'guest' kittys. bahahahahahahaha. yeah i dont think they can make me pay for anything that i didn't sign or even give a verbal agreement to. at the point i agreed to be a 'reference' i thought she was leasing and they might call about her living situation or something, like would their furniture be 'delicately used' or some shit. or did they have any pets they weren't owning up to.

i don't mind them calling as long as its not affecting my credit. i can ignore their calls easily. let them call. i will just feed them bullshit for my amusement.

I called College Foundation a little while ago with a question about my student loans. The woman on the phone randomly wanted to verify my references for when my loans were originally taken out...back in 2004. I thought this was especially odd since I've never missed a payment and have been overpaying quite a bit recently.edit: Lesson -- if you are a "loan reference" they keep that on the account info forever.[Edited on April 23, 2012 at 10:28 PM. DivaBaby19, idk what kind of frans you got but i'm willing to help mine out and be a lousy reference so they can lease some furniture. but don't worry, i'll admit the 'told ya so' if i'm wrong so you can rub one out to your worldly-know-how superiority. update: juts got off the phone with the leasing company, not obligated to pay or sign anything, like MISS DIVA said, just using me to get in touch if they somehow disappear.

The only time renting furniture makes sense is in a corporate lease situation. Anyone else who rents furniture is a complete fucking moron. They should buy that shit off Craigslist like the rest of us poor people.
