6/21/2012 9:40:22 PM

6/21/2012 9:42:33 PM
Here are some tracts for invest 96 (which could later be Debbie)

No idea how I posted twice[Edited on June 22, 2012 at 8:44 AM. Reason : ]
Looks like some of the 12z models are shifting further east, at least the BAM-type. Still waiting on the other 12z runs.
6/22/2012 8:54:30 AM
I think the models are initializing the wrong spot... the llc definitely looks like it is to the NE of the yucatan peninsula now..once this thing gets a little better stacked, the models can run with the true position of the llc and then we should get better results
6/22/2012 4:42:28 PM
we now have Debbie
6/23/2012 5:14:12 PM
come on bigman... you know you want to post it. I beg you
6/23/2012 5:23:39 PM
wat
6/23/2012 9:38:20 PM
How does the season change since we have two Staals now?
6/23/2012 9:52:22 PM
Once the ULL moves away in the western gulf, the shear on the west side of the storm will decrease and this storm will become a lot more symmetrical. I hope it moves west... i have vacation planned in Florida Tuesday-Sunday
6/23/2012 10:22:59 PM
Changed directions...going to go over florida and into the atlantic
6/25/2012 4:27:17 PM
yep... had to cancel my vacation that i've been counting down for 2 months.. gonna reschedule for next week
6/25/2012 4:47:59 PM
That has to be one of the slowest moving storms I've ever seen
6/25/2012 5:45:51 PM
looking at the predicted track right now...we might have us an issue
6/25/2012 11:29:15 PM
what's this "we" shit? you got a mouse in your pocket?
6/25/2012 11:30:16 PM
I'm talking about your face!
6/25/2012 11:31:15 PM
well fucking great. going on a beach trip next week. i hope my vacation isnt ruined
6/26/2012 12:08:06 AM
I guess it all depends on which beach you're going to. Also, I honestly doubt there will be too much of an issue. The surf might be a little rough next week, so you might not wanna actually go swimming...but nothing to stop you from getting on the beach.
6/26/2012 9:07:57 AM
unless the tide is high enough that the beach is covered
6/26/2012 9:14:50 AM
Debby is going to leave us alone....but if you look out there now there is something way out in the Atlantic.Could be interesting to watch what happens with that.
6/27/2012 9:41:22 AM
i just had to cancel my florida vacation b/c of the storm down there...i rescheduled for july 6. whatever is developing out there better stay away from Florida. That would be horrible luck.
6/27/2012 9:46:35 AM
Well these are the predominate paths in July
6/27/2012 9:49:25 AM
6/27/2012 9:57:43 AM
^I said that before I saw that it was for sure going to be out that far.
6/27/2012 10:29:18 AM
Sea at rest.
7/3/2012 7:17:12 AM
This season sucks.
7/12/2012 11:42:40 PM
Well we have two more weeks left of July...I wonder if we will get anything this month. I reckon September will be the big month...if anything...They did predict a fairly calm season...I just think it's weird since the tropics are so warm.
7/18/2012 12:24:39 AM
july always sucks. wait till august and september. although, after living through 04 05 06, nothing will ever please me again. i think climate change has messed up the steering currents.
7/18/2012 12:42:48 AM
They've updated the forecast. Now they think there will be a total of 13 named storms this year...higher than previously forecasted.
7/25/2012 9:01:00 AM
So August is very near...and it is now coming into the month when Hurricane Season will actually wake up and start doing something.August is also the month when one of the prominent paths that are taken is the path that will cause a hurricane to cross right over the coast of NC. There is currently a low pressure system out there. No idea what will happen, but it's possible we could see something...
7/30/2012 8:11:53 AM
Plz to stay quiet this year. I'd like to finally get into my house.
7/30/2012 8:44:16 AM
Looks like we might have something really of interest...it's got a 50% chance of forming in the next 48 hours. It's still too soon to really determine what type of path it might take...pretty much every model has about half of the tracks going to the gulf and half coming up the east coast
7/31/2012 8:46:34 PM
Definitely one to watch over the next few days...
7/31/2012 10:59:38 PM
IMO...it's going to stick to the gulf...
8/1/2012 9:53:32 AM
And we have a depression!
8/1/2012 9:11:56 PM
not organized enough I think to determine path... will be watching it next couple of days at work where I should be doing work
8/1/2012 9:14:11 PM
So Florence...might affect us. However, doesn't look like it's going to get much strength and will probably just remain a depression...if that.
8/6/2012 9:20:12 AM
There is something out there now that might affect us.
8/18/2012 12:09:29 PM
^That sounds, uh, really vague! I should probably be watching myself but it's seemed pretty easily ignored so far.
8/18/2012 12:55:17 PM
There's a storm a brewing...and we do have a possibility of it giving us some action...
8/21/2012 7:07:43 PM
Going on a cruise September 16th. Someone tell me that was a dumb idea...
8/21/2012 7:54:23 PM
8/21/2012 7:56:49 PM
8/21/2012 8:34:14 PM
Plz 2 not be near Atlanta next weekend!
8/21/2012 8:51:45 PM
^ I will pray to the hurricane Gods to make it so.
8/21/2012 9:41:07 PM
Tropical Storm IssacTropical Storm JoyceJoyce is likely a non-issue, but Issac is worrisome. Most models have it going over Key West and west of Florida, but the NAM has it moving east of Florida. With a good amount of dry air aloft currently moving eastward into Florida, I'm having a hard time seeing the storm take the more westward track (as the majority of models & NHC show), especially if it strengthens today. There is a little bit of dry air ahead of the storm towards eastern Cuba, which may keep it from getting stronger. But that area seems to be getting a little more moist (mixing out the drier air), which would help enhance the storm.
