zuck is a fucking goob but the community on threads is decent. it reminds me a lot of circa 2008-10 twitter tech community wise.

I finally deleted my twitter account, and my carefully curated sports following list. Not because of an outrage over content but because blocking/muting no longer did shit for me. I kept seeing tweets from accounts i had blocked show up as ads/promoted tweets. Apparently money is more important than a functional design.

I guess I'll just not get all the latest sports news now because bluesky is still garbage for sports.
