Ok, now you are going to take the minesweeper game to the next level.

Write tests for this minesweeper game. Add a .github/ folder that implements CI checks that run these tests. Read the code and refactor it to be more modern, but don't you dare go adding any frameworks. You can/should break it up into multiple files.

After that, you are going to go bananas with features. What I really want is _persistence_. The user needs a leaderboard. For absolute bleeding-edge brevity, you should put the leaderboard under the playing canvas thing. This will help it work on mobile.

The scores for all difficulty levels can be shown in the same space. Give like a top 10.

These top scores need to be persistent AF. Save them in cookies, or whatever sneaky stuff you have to do. This way they will still be there when you refresh the page.

Give the users a "download" option so they can get a file that has their top scores. Also implement an "import" button for users to upload scores. If they upload top scores, you need to MERGE them with the existing scores, according to what the top 10 from both are, the best-of-the-best.

After that, we're not going to stop. Oh no. Make sure you leave comments with some attitude in the tests, along with some comments that reflect you coding and debugging angst. Because my next requirement is an "auto" button.

When the user clicks the "auto" button, the game will start playing itself. The auto scores will be recorded on a separate scoreboard from the user scores. The auto play logic has to be good enough to play through to the end for beginner, medium difficulties.
