Reversion to the mean. When a bunch of people get sick and the news has babies with rashes it will move back. There are plenty of reasons to push some vaccines and some seem to have a good risk reward trade off. At the same time they lost a lot of trust and there are bad incentives, like Hep B specifically.

In the past it's always been Amish or Mennonites. Apparently this new wave is driven by Ukrainian immigrants (note they say slavic in the press) and also the former.

^ No one has ever forced minority religious populations to get vaccinated. Those people, in a few cases, still attend public school. Is that what you are suggesting? Going into the amish communities with guns and vaccinating them? Sending ICE to the immigrants houses with guns to vaccinate those people?

How many people do you think need to be shot by federal agents to save 1-2 lives of a measles outbreak?
