Is there somewhere you can buy one of each? If not, it's gonna be an expensive day! (Do they have Big Boss brewers down there? If so, snatch up some Bad Penny or Angry Angel.)
6/30/2009 3:57:24 PM

6/30/2009 4:10:02 PM
Maybe you should drink 2 each of 12 different beers then. Or find a better place to live.
6/30/2009 4:11:07 PM

the beer was a great idea, but after about 10 thought I could water-ski, I can't. I ended up crashing and tearing the shit out of my hamstring. Now I walk like a gimp. The good news is, I drank a lot of beer

Sam Adams Summer Ale; Leinenkugel (sp?) Sunset Wheat. Both are very enjoyable for me at this time of year. Granted when I'm trying to get really drunk, it's typically ye olde Diet Busch

i don't really have a favorite- it all depends on what i'm cravingit's like asking "what is your favorite food"- hell if I know... am i in the mood for italian? mexican? americana? oriental? southern soul food?new beer i tried last night that i really liked: Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre.... very good, and pretty complex beer. 8% abv too, so it can do a little damage. The first sip I took reminded me of the first sip of beer ever from one of my dad's pints
7/31/2009 8:20:16 AM
Now on tap in preparation for Sitti's next beer tasting August 13th with Dogfish Head Brewery!
7/31/2009 1:37:19 PM
i do not like that stuff. i'm a fan of Dogfish Head's stuff, but not that one.
7/31/2009 1:38:17 PM
We will also have Dogfish Head Sah Tea, and Festina Peche served with a homemade simple syrup that comes with most lambic style beers. It will be awesome
7/31/2009 1:54:45 PM
only girls put syrup in their beer

Drinking Purple Haze now. Not much selection in the house since I just got back from vaca.
8/2/2009 7:59:15 PM
David, if you like Purple Haze, you'll love Hazed n Infused by Boulder Beer Company. Similar with the floral hops.Drinking Lagunitas Undercover Investigation Shut-Down Ale. Delish! Super hoppy.
8/2/2009 8:02:38 PM
I don't really like to drink it in large quantities but it's nice to just have one once in a while. I was drinking Lion earlier, but I ran out of cold ones. Have you ever had that high gravity blueberry beer?
8/2/2009 8:09:34 PM
No. Who makes the high-grav blueberry beer?I can only drink one Purple Haze every so often. Same with Abita Turbodog. That brewery is great, but their brews have a lot of "character" without a ton of octane. I like as strong as possible (maybe a notch down from dogfish head 120).
8/2/2009 8:13:10 PM
No idea. I'll have to check. It was at Durham beerfest last year.
8/2/2009 8:35:11 PM
drinkin' on this Duck-Rabbit Schwarzbier...a bit expensive but a nice way to get a "stout" fix in the summertime[Edited on August 4, 2009 at 9:20 PM. Reason : h]
8/4/2009 9:11:41 PM

8/4/2009 9:21:18 PM
Dale's pale ale! Or brew your own. Get one of the Teedub homebrewers to whip you up a batch.

i love beer.
8/6/2009 4:51:57 PM
Right now, I think it is New Belgium Skinny Dip. It has a habit of changing every few months though. Flying Dog Dogtober is up there and Shiner is a consistent "generic" beer.
8/6/2009 5:42:14 PM
Playing poker and drinking wild blue.
8/7/2009 9:22:49 PM
i'm thinking i want to become a beer snob and get the more expensive beers. i'm done with pbr. that shit gives me bad headaches.
8/7/2009 9:28:30 PM
Up 100 and switching to sierra nevada summerfest.

I just refilled a growler of the wit that was a collaboration between Lonerider and Busy Bee Cafe. The Chef's Wit is a witbier spiced with pink peppercorns and coriander and some other stuff. It's a GREAT dinner beer with beef, pork, or chicken. It's about $20 for the first growler and then $15 for refills. If you already have a Busy Bee growler, go get that thing filled!
