That’s strikes me as a trite observation tbh. Of course all politicians know to talk about what they’re for. But dems are up against a misinformation machine that has most white people captivated in a misinformation bubble, and because of how white people are distributed, this means they essentially have most of the government captivated. There is a true and genuine systemic information bias against democrats and there’s no magic words that can break through this. Democrats need to be working to dismantle this which largely is going to mean dismantling billionairism. I stand for that.

But Democratic leadership is a major problem. They way they openly scorn Mamdani as he has a clear lead in the polls, and actually is a friendly, clear, charismatic speaker, pushing very popul(ar/ist) ideas, or keep AOC off the leadership track, they never embrace their successful elements, instead they try to mold them into the status quo then use this as proof they’ve never done anything wrong.

But what is Trump's thought process here with denying SNAP payments?

He had the cover in that the courts ordered the administration to make the payments, but now he appealed on emergency basis to the Supreme Court which (surprise!) granted him relief from making the payments.
