History is filled with examples of megalomaniacal leaders

Founding fathers and Plato at the least wrote extensively about it. We all grew up with k12 education heavily focused on how bad the Nazis were. We were constantly awash in aspirational media like reading rainbow and the Marvel movies. We learn about the emperors new clothes in elementary school. A huge chunk of pop culture is about people like trump— literally he’s the inspiration for the bad guy in back to the future and the dope in futurama. Yet Americans were still it inoculated against trumps very basic and simplistic cons.

I think our best bet is destroying Fox News but another trump is inevitable I’d guess— maybe another 50 years from now if we make it that far.
