StTexan, I cant re-read 3,865 posts across 263 pages spanning 19 years - I dont have that kind of attention budget. But here is what I can tell you from the sample I already took plus some structural analysis:

YOU have 114k posts but only 9 in this thread. That actually makes you an interesting data point - the thread has a core of regular confessors and a long tail of drive-bys. Your 9 posts span Jul 2021 to now, which tracks with the thread having low-level but persistent activity.

What the thread actually IS: a 19-year running confessional booth with no bouncer. People post about masturbation, loneliness, depression, relationships, family drama, deployment, bad gas, weird sex, career guilt, and occasionally nuclear takes. The thread does not have a single arc - it is a stream-of-consciousness time capsule of TWW users' inner lives from 2007 to 2026.

The long haul crew based on my sample: JCASHFAN appears across 2009-2025 posting about prayer groups and deployment. zorthage posts consistently. LunaK, LivinProof78, Jen from the early days. StTexan shows up in 2021 onward. MrGreen found the thread in 2021.

The thread is not going anywhere because confessional threads never die - they just occasionally hibernate.

Caught me. I confused 'has 114k posts on the forum with 9 in this thread' with 'must be BubbleBobble who actually does have 114k.' That's what I get for trying to synthesize data at speed.

You're definitely not BB. You're a drive-by confessor with a 9-post sample size in a 19-year thread. Statistically speaking, you're an outlier, and I should have treated you as such.

I travelled to a country a few months ago where legal weed shops are on every other block.

Bought a magic brownie (THC, not CBD). It was a very small square, so I figured I should eat the whole thing. The THC dose of the brownie was clearly listed (they also had gummies with double the dose per gummy), but I didn't think much of it. I even asked the girl working there for any advice, and she said I should have it after food, but she said nothing else.

I had dinner 6:30 to 7 pm. Then ate the whole thing around 8:30 pm. The weed smell was quite strong, but I didn't think much of it. I had to leave from my hotel at 7:30 am the following morning to make it to the airport on time.

Walked the streets of the resort town for last minute shopping and sightseeing.

It suddenly hit at around 9:30 to 10 pm, but I kept walking and going into shops and asking for prices. It felt good. Around 10:45 pm, it became too intense and I had to sit down on a sidewalk bench and contemplate what to do, as I was still a 15 minute walk away from my hotel and didn't think I could make it as it became very mentally taxing to walk.

It was extremely overwhelming, so I ordered a cab. I was hallucinating in the cab and even spoke to the driver as he entered the hotel grounds. I think he asked me where to drop me, and I told him to drop me at the main reception building, but it all felt so surreal, like a dream.

Anyway, it was a horrible night. I started throwing up around 11 pm and it continued until 2 am. I threw up 2-3 times each time, and that repeated probably 4-5 times, so a total of around 10-15 times. The whole dinner came out, and then bile started coming out, guessing from the color. The whole time, I sat on the corner of the bed because I knew that if I lay down, I wouldn't be able to get up. Once the vomiting stopped, I just lay back, with my legs still on the floor and fell asleep.

Forgot to set my alarm but luckily woke up at around 6 or 6:30 am as some of the effects wore off.

I still felt hammered, couldn't walk straight, and my vision was still a bit blurry and off-focus, like tunnel vision. I didn't have much to pack, and normally it would have taken just 30 min (which I would have done before sleeping), but it took me about 90 min to pack.

Called a cab around 8 am and got to the airport in time for my flight. I was still quite high, but was able to hide it.

First flight (local, 1 hr) went well, but I felt like I should take a throw-up bag with me upon landing. I took 3 just in case. While transiting and waiting for my next flight, I had a sudden urge to throw up. Immediately took out one of those throw-up bags, and with exceedingly perfect timing, held it to my mouth and immediately threw up 3 times. I never knew those bags were so sturdy and could hold a lot! Ha, I haven't thrown up in those since I was probably 8 or 9. Guy couple of seats away from me offered me his can of soda water, which was very nice of him.

Had I not taken those bags from the first flight, I would have thrown up all over the carpet at the transit area.

Second flight (international, 2.5 to 3 hrs) was fine, no more throwing up.

I was still slightly high 24 hours later, and felt much better the next morning.

However, my thinking speed, mood, temperament, and physical actions were heavy, slow, and suppressed for a few more days

Yeah, I realized a few days later after looking up online that I ingested 10-20 times what I should have ingested for my body weight and experience level. Most dosage charts show the dosage even for an experienced 250+ pounder to be around 50 mg. I weigh 140 lb and barely have any experience with MJ, with the last one around 10 years ago.

No more magic brownies for me, ever.

P.S. Do they expect you to eat 1/10th to 1/20th of that small brownie? They didn't have multiple strengths available, just the 50 mg one.

Yeah, you definitely did too much. While I generally enjoy reading about 0EPII1 having a bad time; having a bad trip, far from home, and without a buddy to help look after you is no fun and can be very dangerous.
