I just got my feet stepped on, got kicked in the shin and knees. Got a knee to the balls. Got kicked in the stomach a few times. Got punched in the ribs and stomach and in my back in a few spots.

Then on the way home I threw up twice. Once in my car's frontseat, once in my car's backseat with no warning that I was about to throw up. Now I feel like shit

Oh trust me, it is. My fingers are still numb, feet still tingling a bit, and I just spoke to the on-call doctor on the phone. Tomorrow we're going to do a blood draw and check all my levels to see where the deficiency is. My hands were doing a weird closing up motion on their own as I was driving home, which could apparently indicate a calcium deficiency (!!). We'll see what happens tomorrow. I am starting to feel reboundy so I'm going to check my blood sugars again and make sure everything is leveling out OK. I'm still super dehydrated but my body has moved past that "dear sweet jesus why did you do that to me" phase, so I can probably start to move around (slowly) without getting sick again.

Cool eh? Don't worry TWW, I'm not ER material just yet.

extreme constipation
I noticed she was having trouble pooping, so I gave her mineral oil to help move things along but it wasn't working and tonight when I saw her straining and crying out in pain I decided I couldn't wait until tomorrow to take her to the vet. She's also really dehydrated, so they are keeping her overnight and giving her fluids and enemas. If she poops on her own she can come home, otherwise they will put her under and do it manually.

she's about 15 years old so I'm extremely worried.

oh no that happened to my callie! not that extreme. she got hemorrhoids though from being constipated i have to put water cups all around the house and leave the toilet open because she WONT drink out of her water bowl so then she gets dehydrated. i also have to feed her food with really high fiber.

i hope everything works out ok. it is good she is at the vet!
