k so now that i have my music collection all organized (finally!) i want to start running shit again

a thought:

for the DJ system, i'm thinking of doing it a la Hak5 Radio - community-based streaming. instead of me coding up some elaborate system to ensure you only broadcast in your timeslot, could i trust you guys to be somewhat ethical and play by the rules?

obviously if people start being retarded about it (cutting in on other people's programs, broadcasting dead air, etc) i'll just ban those people from connecting to the mount point...

anyone have any better ideas?
