We tried raw horse meat here the other night. Apparently it's a specialty.

I would post some of my photos from Japan but i can't figure out how to make the pics big. I think you have to be a special "premie"

Yeah, that's the bad thing about the heating here. It's hazardous to your health.

^ did you enjoy Kyoto? I never encountered it anywhere else in Japan, but the people in that city seemed really rude to me.

^^^ I go to Kyoto about once a month and like it. I deal with amazingly rude people on a weekly basis where I live, so if the people in Kyoto are rude it probably doesn't even phase me anymore

It makes me happy to see other people using a Japanese keyboard btw.

Those who use the : as a replacement are weak! Real men reach for the top every time.

lol, I actually have no idea about Facebook, I never use it for photo hosting.

Yesterday I got off of work really early so I took the train to Kyoto and found a random parade:

I love when stuff like that happens

As always I will gladly enjoy any pictures of shrines or torii that you may run across. Regular pics of anything Japanese will be welcomed as well.

It's a lot easier for me to use, I just need to upgrade to pro so I can better organize with more folders. When I can afford it.

The plum trees are all in full bloom now. Cherry trees shouldn't be far behind.

yeah, they are 5 yen coins. 5 yen coins traditionally are supposed to be good luck, kind of like lucky pennies. Story goes if you put a 5 yen coin on this particular plum tree you will have really good luck for the rest of the year.

Please to be finding a Shinto shrine or torii with signs of spring. I am in need of a new background and shrines are in short supply here in Jesusland.

^^ Sure thing

^ I'm sure once the cherries are in bloom the shrines will be more impressive looking. The plums are nice but there aren't many plum trees around where I live.
