^^that isn't really at all what she trains foralthough i'm gonna guess 175-180. interested to see how close i am (probably way off)^ talking about 1RM or 10RM or anything else for "squat machine" or "incline press machine" is silly. besides the fact that few people using that stuff will know the answer to your question, or even push themselves hard enough to know, it's meaningless information--different machines vary a LOT.[Edited on July 30, 2008 at 1:21 AM. I compete in Figure, I'm bigger in offseason like most bodybuilders. Right now I'm down 12 pounds since off season since I'm getting ready to compete. My lifts have taken a huge hit as a result of my diet and weight loss. (I'm only eating ~ 1500 calories a day and I'm burning that many in the gym every single day)I have a bodyspace profile on Bodybuilding.com where I post my lifts/progress/etc... They estimate me to 1 rep max at 181lbs on bench right now, which is probably accurate. Last week I pressed 170lbs 3 times at 125lbs body weight. http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/mprior/

heh, cool. i lurk on bodybuilding when i'm looking for ideas for my workout...started doing deadlifts and some squats because of that one popular plan they have on there that focuses on total body movements. I haven't really been working out enough to see any impact though

I love deadlifts but I strained the tendons in my lower back doing them. I shouldn't have taken a break from lifting and it wouldnt have been a problem dammit.

yeah, i'm trying to do a little of everything...bodybuilding-type workouts, running, and Crossfit (which includes a lot of power and oly-lifts).i've gotten to be a big fan of deads, cleans, and handstand push-ups (I already dug on some squats and pull-ups).gonna build some concrete barbells, sled, etc when I buy a house.

yeah, in high school weight training we would do squats, but rarely (if ever) hit deadlifts so I never really got exposure to them. I stopped doing squats because my back would get quirky or just didn't feel right, plus i never had a partner for it. now when i workout i do both and squats feel alright on lower weights, i've had to read a bunch and watch youtubes on how to properly do deads though I wish I had a sled, that was some good stuff when we did that in high school.
