"so, this morning i was outside with both of my dogs when this bitch comes walking out... holding one of her dogs and the other off the leash of course. penny ignores them but mady goes a little insane, as usual. she picks up her dog's leash and walks off to another side of the building and i take my dogs around to the opposite side. my dogs are done so i walk back to the back of the building to go back up to my apartment. i didn't think anything of it because she had gone off to some other part of the yard. but of course she is back there with her dogs again. mady growls and penny ignores them and i'm like oh well. but this bitch has the audacity to say to me... "WHY WOULD YOU COME AROUND HERE WHEN YOU KNEW WE WERE HERE?? YOU ARE A COMPLETE IDIOT!!"
i already left a message at the office and should be getting a call back in an hour or so."

So what, the bitch expected you to wait for her dogs to get finished before you could go back to YOUR OWN apartment. You are a way better person than I am, because I would have chewed that bitch out. Something along the lines of "Oh, sorry bitch, I didn't realize I needed your fucking permission to go back into my own fucking apartment" And I probably would have thrown some more f-bombs in there for emphasis.

I'm not pulling the crazy woman or anything, but honestly you should keep Mady in check. Give her DAS BOOT or something once in a while

the whole mady thing is its own drama
HOWEVER
i did speak to the property manager this afternoon and she would like me to make some written statements she can keep in this woman's file if/when she is evicted
my mom said i should stay out of it because she thinks the woman may be mentally ill and would try to do something to me BUT i hate to back down when i know i'm in the right

I have gotten less tolerant of stupid shit like that in my old age actually. When I used to just keep my mouth shut and move on, nowadays i let people know just how stupid they really are.

We had a neighbor like that in the apartment where we first lived. She harassed us, yelled, threatened and was just loud all times of the night. We were polite with her, complained to the apartment manager and nothing was ever done. One day she stabbed a guy so we came home that evening to the GPD and a coroner's van. We couldn't enter the apartment for a while. The GPD questioned us. We told them that she was a crazy lady who had threatened us.

and yet we still couldn't get out of our lease.

So good luck with your crazy neighbor.

I fail to see why the leasing agency is being drawn in to officiate a personal matter between two individuals.

Twoozles, quit trying to find someone to bail you out. Put on your big girl panties, claim some responsibility of your own, and handle your problems. You made the decision to live in an apartment complex with two dogs. You let your dog instigate a fight with another dog.

I'm assuming you posted this for the world to see in an attempt to get advice. So I'll give you some. You have two options: A) Be an adult. Go down and talk with her (without your dogs). Apologize for not having your dog on a leash the day the problem occurred and promise you will keep your dogs on a leash going forward. OR B) Take the chicken shit route and - move.

Acting like a child ie....."Somebody help me please" "This lady called me names" "she said I was fat" "let me call the leasing agent" "let me tell my momma" "let me go online and say bad things about her" "Please someone else run in and solve the problem I created" .........Should not be an option.

O, one more thing, be real thankful I'm not the one answering the phone at your leasing agents office. You wouldn't waste my time with this BS more than once.

Have a great day!

Because it is in the best interest of the leasing agency to not have 2 of their tenants fighting. What if the other tenants hear said arguments and feel threatened themselves? A small argument between 2 tenants can quickly escalate into phone calls from the entire building and possible phone calls to the police, which no leasing agency wants. If I owned an apartment complex, I would want to be made aware of these types of situations immediately, so I could attempt to resolve the problem before it escalated into a REAL problem.

Why not get a restraining order against her? They're only what, $50? It won't get enforced but it will ruin her day

if she were just bitching at me then i would have bitched right back and never involved the managers. however, she has been consistently leaving her dog off its leash and allowing it to run up and be aggressive toward my dog. this not only is in violation of her lease but the city of raleigh leash ordinance.

and i did not make this thread. i was actually telling djeternal about the situation and he thought it would be interesting or funny to share with the wolf web.

So call animal control, tell them her dog is off a lease and attacking other people. That should get them over there pretty quick.

This is the sort of drama that ends up on the news because one of the parties involved finally snaps and kills the other party.

keeping the Apt. management in the loop is the best advice. Every time there is an incident, call them and get it on record. that way if she ever does escalate it you have proof that you tried to get the complex to intervene. In other words if, god forbid, she ever hurt one of your dogs, the complex could be held responsible just as much as she can.

uhhh yea do not go and try to speak with her. WORST advice ever. a) she is crazy b) it will inevitably lead to some sort of verbal confrontation and c) then she'll probably try to tag you with some kind of bullshit like threats or attacking her or assaulting her or something insane.

i mean i know you know that was bad advice. i'm just saying, i think you are doing the right thing!

Whenever my dog is outside and not in the fenced in yard I have him on a leash. I know he is very well behaved and would never run off, but it's just a way to avoid situations such as this.

I still don't understand why twoozles even engaged this crazy broad.

Seriously...just turn your back on her and walk away every single time.

Even dumb, crazy people get the point when they've just finished ranting at you and are foaming at the mouth, and you don't dignify them with a response.

here's the latest...

i only have one dog now since poopface kidnapped my pug.

so i was outside with penny saturday night and this woman comes downstairs with her dogs. one she is carrying, the other with a leash on but basically running free as usual. she is talking on her cell phone, sees me, then says "uh.. she is out here!" her dog then proceeds to take a shit in the breezeway before she picks it up and walks to the other side of the building.

so i would like some advice.... should i write this all down like the office manager asked or should i just stay out of it?

I'd say, every time you see her... give her this look like "I know something embarrassing about you"... its kind of a sarcastic smug look...

like this...

Then wink at her...

EVERY TIME... THE WINKING IS CRUCIAL...

(cause think about it.... you've made someone hate you... and it's consuming her, to the point where she's telling people on the phone about it... agonizing about it... and instead of doing the same... instead of letting it get to you... just be happy that you have this kind of power over this crazy bitch of a woman... ... ... ... ellipses

i own a business that caters towards rental properties and thus i am in apartment complex leasing offices all day everyday

i can tell you with the utmost certainty that the management has more pressing concerns than to try and mediate your situation

just confront the woman like an adult and end it.

if she cant get passed your initial disagreement then simply offer to take your pets out on the 30s and let her have the 00's of every hour

problem solved

Walk out to your car, pretending to talk on your cell phone, and say "OH THANK GOODNESS; THAT BITCH I TOLD YOU ABOUT IS MOVING."

Getting the final word is crucial for closure.
