The moon age/phase has been calculated for each trophy and the totals for each lunar day have been tabulated. The relative strength of each lunar day determines the color code added to the calendar. In some instances, particular lunar dates created 40% more trophy bucks than other lunar dates. Here's a question for you guys...


Cabelas or Bass Pro?


I live less than 10 minutes from a BassPro so it's always the first place i go for something but lately i've been more impressed with the Cabelas website. The site is loaded with a bunch more technical stuff and informative articles. I've spent many an hour lately just reading through the site without doing much shopping at all.

There is also Gander Mountain, but the closest one is about 30 minutes away from me so i've never been.

I've been doin a lot of online shopping at Cabelas. Great site.

I ALWAYS drop by Gander Mountain though when I go visit my folks in Greensboro.

It's been years since I've been in a Bass Pro.

I hunted the last 3 days strait. Morning and evening every day. Saw 7 deer total and all were small bucks. All I wanted was a couple does for the freezer! I may be giving up on deer hunting for the remainder of the year. On to duck season!!
