I used to think that Beck was pretty good. I agreed with him on his overall stance of less government being better. Lately, though, he's gone totally off the deep end and become a raging douche.I'm getting really close to changing my voter registration. The GOP, long since largely intolerable, is running out of redeeming qualities.

well, beck would be the first person to tell you that rational thought and discussion is the best way for your point to be missed. without a doubt the primary weak point in the libertarian "battle plan". You also should be careful to realize that besides his comical ways and cartoonish facial expressions, he's still fairly new at this whole thing (relatively speaking) and is still maturing as a broadcaster of sorts. He's made his harshest enemies at the ends of both political spectrums (omg do you know how much shit is being talked about him on right wing radio?) and thats simply got to affect a man who tries as hard as he clearly does to listen to whats being said to him. when the majority of your responsive audience is composed of people who share their minds with the likes of micheal moore, sean penn, and hugo fucking chavez, it changes you if you work to force two way conversations with them. Lol beck is a republican lol

LOLs today. He has a red phone and is begging for the White House to call him and correct anything that is incorrect that he says. Then using their non-call as an endorsement that he is telling the truth.God bless that man. For my money, he's as funny as Jon Stewart is.

^^^ Fermat is right concerning this: "you know how much shit is being talked about [Beck] on right wing radio?" Mark Levin is probably the third most popular talk radio conservative behind Rush and Hannity--and he hates Beck (and O'Reilly, for that matter):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP67Brx2KwEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1-ZgouoJso

Well, obviously. People mistakenly associate Beck's drivel for the thoughts of the mainstream conservatives (and yes, obviously, smaller government is a large part of the ideology) and it doesn't reflect well on them as a whole.
