Olive Garden is great if you're dating a vegetarian. They're pretty much limited to bottomless salad and free breadsticks, so you get out pretty cheap.
9/21/2009 11:32:21 AM
lemme check, but I think vegetarians might be able to eat pastanot sure tho
9/21/2009 11:34:17 AM
Naw, pasta is made from puppy bones.
9/21/2009 11:35:27 AM
not with meat in it
9/21/2009 11:35:34 AM
we vegetarians eat nothing but fruits and vegetable.we are all members of PETA\we all tell you how sad it was that the animal you are eating was once a living, caring, loving thing
9/21/2009 11:36:11 AM
A vegetarian could get fat quick by wolving down multiple bowls of fettuchini alfredo
9/21/2009 11:36:43 AM
^fact

Olive Garden is But I always have to go there for lunch with clients. The nutrition information is appalling. The children's fettucini alfredo has 800 calories! That just seems wrong.Thank god for their salad (hold the dressing) and minestrone.
9/21/2009 11:41:36 AM
Yeah if I get stuck at Olive Garden I just order the salad. At least that is good.
9/21/2009 11:42:31 AM
A bowl of pasta is usually worse for you than a cheeseburger Only like 10 percent of the population realizes this
9/21/2009 11:43:19 AM
There are healthy pastas, but it's rare that you can find a restaurant with whole wheat noodles on the menu. And a serving size of pasta is much too generous in any restaurant.Another thing to be careful about at Olive Garden (and most restaurants, for that matter) is SODIUM. You can easily consume twice your daily recommended intake of sodium if you're not careful.

Smoke some weed then go to olive garden. I bet you will be able to take advantage of never ending pasta bowl.

Olive Garden attracts the same sorts that go to places like Carrabba's. There will always be a market for people that like sub par food. And really, no good local Italian in the Triangle? Really?
9/21/2009 6:58:49 PM
i dont just hate olive garden, but ever since my wop of an ex left me i hate everything italian.
9/21/2009 7:04:14 PM
Hispanics running a place and working there are two different things. Any chain is ran corperately and just duplicated on site. nobody likes sub par food. people like what they think is good. if they like sub par food then sub par food tastes good. Granted, some people are afraid to try new things so there could be a better restaurant nearby but they will go to olive garden because its a name they know and trust will be good no matter where they go. I'm not in the triangle which does have some good but not great ones. When I was in Wake Forest, Olive garden was the best thing within a reasonable distance. There was a pretty decent one downtown that closed early and had awful salad. I rahter give up the slight quality on my entree to have good salad and bread. There was also a good one in cary ~an hour from my home...the better quality not quite worht the drive even if they had great salad, didn't. The only phenomenal Italian I've had was in little Italy and a fancy place I frequented in LA people say isn't even Italian. Miami beach has a few overpriced italian hits that are slightly better than OG.~25 an entree.

prefers...I hope you knew what I meant and were just swinging if not you are a lost soul and I will pray for you either way. If five guys offered the same price and had a drive through everyone would prefer it to mcdonalds. RELATIVE. Mcdonalds isn't low quality food RELATIVE to its opponents(burger king windys. Olive garden isn't cheap or and you have to wait. your points so far-olive garden is bad but they get business because there is a large market of people just looking for bad food-there are great unique italian restaurants in pretty much EVERY city-(every city "now having" is how you put it which also means unique italian restaurants are some sort of new phenomenon sweeping the nation replacing chains forever-most og employees are hispanic and by working there influence the menu, style, and flavor of the entire chain-no understanding of categories and food classes. People eat lunch at mcdonalds as opposed to the angus barn therefore people prefer sub par food. [Edited on September 21, 2009 at 7:26 PM. Reason : supa size me]
9/21/2009 7:25:08 PM
I find your trolling to be sub par as well
