Yes I have been. Very nice city but not elite on the international level. Great nightlife but theres not much to do there besides drink, which is why they've gotten so damn good at it. Did I say they never get sunlight? No. It is, however, notoriously cool and gloomy.Ireland is on par with Seattle as far as rain days and in the winter they get an insanely low ammount of sun hours. gloomier than london, the most notable "gloomy city" their summers are gloomier than much of our winters.gloomier than most of alaska...lol[Edited on September 29, 2009 at 12:19 PM. Reason : haha look how it stays red in the summer]
9/29/2009 12:17:56 PM
Gloomy is also synonymous with depressing and dismal, so don't even try to act like you weren't dogging it in that aspect. You and I both know you weren't mainly referring to the "amount of sunlight they get." Rainy and cloudy =/= gloomy. But whatev.. obviously you didn't look around much if you really think they only drink over there because there's not much else to do. Troll on and keep hatin

I have no interest in visiting any of the "big cities"but I love landscapes and hate concentrated crowds of people, so...

Why are people bitching about Ireland in a thread about American cities?

Samwise rather go to Dublin than Miami though. As if it was a comparable, american alternative...
9/30/2009 4:36:53 PM
What's funny is that I never listed it in my original list. I only brought it up because you wouldn't shut the fuck up about Miami and for some reason you always mention how I went to Ireland (such as going "just for Guinness") so I figured I'd make it easy on you that time and joke about how I'd rather be in Dublin than Miami.Gah you suck at life.
9/30/2009 6:18:46 PM
because you made such a big hubub about your trip to ireland and how the passport fiasco could've ruined it only to drink guinness when you finally got there. That was CLASSIC. As a major promoter of the city, you sure as hell don't know what to do there. I wasn't "wouldn't shutup about miami" I was commenting in the thread and trying to clarify if people who siad Miami meant the city of miami which has some of the least desireable places in the US or the general area refereed to Miami that has some of the most desireable bunch of places in the US.Then you went and tried to say Dublin wasn't gloomy[Edited on September 30, 2009 at 7:02 PM. Reason : I couldn't have thought up such a terrible argument to make if i tried]
9/30/2009 7:00:33 PM
Please try harder. For real. This has become sad.For as much as you seem to stalk my posts, you sure missed a hell of a lot of details about my trip. Sounds like you're just a little jealous.
9/30/2009 8:28:49 PM
If mambagrl is an alias, then I would like to argue about Miami. I typically don't want to go to warmer climates in the winter (I'm a skiier, so I don't care to use my winter vacation time going places with similar climates to where I live for 3/4 of the year) and Florida is HORRIFIC in the summer. Blah, blah, blah.If mambagrl is the chick in it's photo gallery, then I agree with her 100%.[Edited on September 30, 2009 at 8:31 PM. Reason : btw, I'm kidding... fuck it either way.]

don't feel sorry for meif they had won, I would've spent like 20 minutes talking about the things I saw while over there, while installing said script took about 2 minutes (literally). trust me... for me to totally ignore a person means I really don't care, because otherwise I would argue till the cows come home about anything and everything

Thats a really cool feature. I wish it was on every site because I've been owned at another message board and it often haunts me because the owner still mocks me about it. Sure its a bit cowardly but it can help keep us in our right mind when things go horribly wrong. Not enough knowledge on this site for me to find it useful here, though.
