my point is simply she realizes that with her dress there are certain risks, and any reasonable person by acknowledging those risks but continuing to carry out their behavior inherently takes partial responsibility for the consequences of said behavior.

i'm not saying she should get raped or that I wouldn't find it unfortunate for her if she did, but she is sort of asking for it.

This is my take:

No one deserves to be raped (except perhaps for women who maliciously and falsely accuse men of rape), but when you dress like that, you are taking a risk. And it is your own goddamn fault for taking such a risk.

We don't live in a perfect world. Not all men are angels. Knowing those facts, if you dress like that, then yes, you are at fault for taking such a risk. I am not saying the rapist should have less blame or should get less punishment, just saying that a woman would be stupid to dress like that in public in any country.

I wouldn't necessarily think Raleigh would be a place one could be carefree about rape issues, considering all the rogue incidents that continually happen in the Hillsborough street area.
