you have to either be supportive or do nothing. it sucks because you would think "being a good friend" would mean sitting them down and being like "what the fuck" but 1) what you eat doesnt make him shit, and 2) he'll resent you more for saying something if they stay together than if you dont say something and they break up.

I also have a buddy that married someone that none of his friends like. At all. That was about 5 years ago. Still together. We still can't stand her. But it's not our place.

I agree that telling him upfront that she isn't right for him will only cause him to get majorly defensive. I had a situation like this come up years ago with a family member, and I confronted the person about their choice of a significant other...so, now I've learned my lesson. He will learn for himself...hopefully!
