Hahaha. I used to work at a camp near there and one of the biggest douches I've ever met always insisted on going there with girls on time off and playing guitar.

I think everyone else pulled more ass than him with the old "Hey, I got some beer" approach.

i knew the casting director's daughter for that show... i could have been an extra if i gave a crap about bragging about seeing my face on tv in the background of some dumb teen show.

i should have done it.

Part of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans was filmed in Roxboro, where I've lived my entire life and I can't figure out where the heck it could have been filmed here. We have absolutely nothing but rocks, trees and a few lakes.

You don't want to live here. If you're serious about it though, pm me and I'll see what I can do if you give me some specs.

Cold Mountain was two brits and an aussie trying to do NC accents while pretending that Romania was NC.

Main Street...should be coming out in 2010. Writer Horton Foote wrote the screenplay after visiting downtown Durham years ago and finding it empty on the weekend. .

Quote :
"Main Street is a contemporary drama about several residents of a small Southern city whose lives are changed by the arrival of a stranger with a controversial plan to save their decaying hometown. In the midst of today's challenging times, each of the colorful citizens of this close-knit North Carolina community -- from a once-wealthy tobacco heiress to the city's mayor to a local police officer -- will search for ways to reinvent themselves, their relationships and the very heart of their neighborhood."

Its the movie where Orlando Bloom is a Durham cop.
