i generally avoid contact during sleep if at all possible...when my goal is sleep, i prefer a cool other side of the pillow to some sweaty spooning

i agree! i take up a lot of the bed but it's not for cuddling it's just because i like room to spread out. i also like to have at least 3 pillows.

I can go to sleep while "cuddling"...but then I wake up and just move to a side of the bed with no contact.

Not truth
depends on what the temp is. If it's warm, I stay near the edge of the bed so I can fling one leg out of the covers. If it's cold I tend to gravitate towards the warm body.
Either way though, I usually stay on my side of the bed. I like to think I'm a good bed mate since I don't snore or steal covers. Except I can't fall asleep cuddling. Gimme some space, mon.

first semester of freshman year i slept with a girl just about every night and even though i woke up all the time, i slept much better. since then i've not slept with a girl regularly and i don't think my sleeping has recovered since.

[Edited on February 22, 2010 at 11:55 PM. Reason : in a twin bed at that]

depends on the night. but i usually kick my covers off which means that they get kicked off of her at some point and she has to wake up. But...i usually stay to my side of the bed, so shes got that goin for her, haha

not that i sleep with anyone now, but when i did....it was NOT like that....i sleep on the verrrry end of the bed, so im like halfway falling off. and i hate pillows. i dont like being cuddled or touched when i want to sleep. stay on your side. lol.

^ What about fucking? Do you make an exception for when you're tired but the other person wants to fuck?

it all depends on how they go about it. hahaha. havent been in that situation in...uhhhh. cant even remember how long.

but if theyre gonna be on my side of the bed, it better be because they want some booty, otherwise, stay on your damn side.

and its annoying when theyre tired and i wanna fuck. or theyre drunk and not very conscious...and i wanna fuck. ill still cop a feel, whatever.

This is why you need dual nightstands. Each of us gets our own water, reading material, phone charging space, and, more importantly, alarm clock. For the life of me I don't know why most bedroom sets seem to come with only one, and by extension, why you can only find single ones for sale if you're looking for used.

^ Space constraints. I have two night stands, but they are both on the same side of the bed making some sort of night table. There just isn't room for my Cali King bed + two night stands on the wall I have it on (there is also a tall dresser on that wall).

The good thing about my setup is that I have room for my alarm clock, air purifier, book/magazine, etc. The air purifier is about the size of one night stand so it would have to go if I didn't use this setup.

I can't sleep in the same bed cause I a tornado. I sleep on the floor, in my chair, even out at the hot tub. Going to bed is such a commitment to going to sleep, I just can't do it. I just fall asleep right where my project is.
