i was more referring to big hospitals. the ones who are losing money. and since they are losing money having to CUT staff. uninsured people cost $$$ too you know. even though they can't pay their shit it is still costing us (more than financial cost but that is what most people care about so we'll leave it at that).

You are also generalizing. You are assuming that everyone who does not have health insurance are lazy people with no motivation. From what I understand however, the largest group of uninsured individuals are actually young adults. They have been dropped from their parents health care coverage because of their age but have yet to get their full time job with benefits. Therefore they are uninsured. This bill is actually going to help stop that lapse in coverage.
