Let me know if you're gonna stock a legitimate supply of semiconductors and and passive components. Sick of ordering shit online and/or rummaging through Radio Shack's shitty collection, paying their shitty prices. That's the kind of store this place needs.

Raleigh Reboot is the best name so far.Especially since you want to see repaired equipment.

Actually in the end the name I chose was Undead Electronics. "You kill it, we bring it back to life." Minka's was the best in my opinion (and she gets the credit), but I rather liked the final choice. Its simple, memorable, and interesting.elduderino: One of the things I determined from the start is that I'll be happy to sell anything I stock and even give advice to those who want to do it themselves. I'll keep a very comprehensive supply of low-ESR capacitors, resistors, inductors, and various other high failure rate components on hand. You can buy them by request at very low markup (mainly to cover shipping). Obviously they won't be out on racks (my store space is limited), but if you ask and I have it I WILL sell it to you.The way I see it, I want to run the kind of store I would go to and refer others to. I don't just want the computer illiterate, I want other geeks to walk through the door and find something that appeals to them. Its doesn't just make being at the front desk more fun, it also makes good business sense . . . . who do people ask for advice on where to go for service?

Haha, clever name. The slogan seems a little patronizing, but probably true nonetheless (and maybe targeted towards the computer illiterate). Major kudos on opening a store, that's pretty cool.[Edited on March 14, 2013 at 1:51 AM. Reason : .]

Well the "slogan" isn't exactly set in stone. Perhaps just "We bring it back to life" would be better. The business name however and website, twitter, facebook, etc are all done and reserved and I really think this will be a lot of fun and something I can take real pride in.Just have to hammer out the lease on the actual storefront now, the property agency's representative is downright unprofessional so I'll soon go directly to the landlord. I want to really have some fun with the actual store . . . neat electronics in the windows, and two robots walking and flying around.
