I'm being serious. Let's face it -- Decker is the 4th option on his team. Thomas, Thomas, and Welker have significantly more fantasy points than Decker.Tate is RW's first option and a legit WR1suit yourself
11/11/2013 2:28:48 PM
well, that's not entirely true given that Harvin comes back next week.second opinion needed.
11/11/2013 8:41:07 PM
hope nobody started Mike James

Was offered this trade in a standard league with a flex.I give:Big BenLesean McCoyTony GonzalezI get:Eli ManningMatt ForteJordan ReedMy other RBs are AP and Chris Johnson. Big ben is my only QB as I lost Rodgers? thoughts?
11/11/2013 9:26:31 PM
LOL, I needed Wallace to somehow catch that.
11/11/2013 11:37:08 PM
I had faith in starting Eli yesterday, against a HORRIBLE Raiders defense.Eli gave me 5 pointsI immediately dropped him and will never start him again in my life
11/11/2013 11:40:53 PM
With Tony Gonzalez being hobbled and basically underperforming for most of the year, I am looking to change TEs. The team I am looking at offering has both Gates and Jordan Reed.Is Gonzalez for either Reed or Gates a fair offer? Would you do that trade? There are really no good waiver wire options, so trade is my best bet. Thoughts?
11/12/2013 7:30:18 AM
In an interesting position in a 10-team non-PPR. We can only have 5 RB roster spots, I now have to take Andre Brown off of IR, so have to free up a spot.Pick 2 to keep for the rest of the season:Andre BrownMJDB. TateI planned on trying to trade one, but with Brown sitting on IR but not IR-eligible anymore, I can't make the trade. So going to have to drop one of those 3 guys(I'm not dropping McCoy, Charles, or Stacy).
11/12/2013 8:25:55 AM
I've been toying with an idea with a couple of my friends, and wanted to run it by the TWW crew for suggestions on improvements.Next year we are thinking of having a standard league, but then also having a "golf" football league. All of the scores will be inverted (positive points will be negative, negative will be positive) and the goal will be to get the closest to zero. The idea being that so many picks either are busts or have season ending injuries and there is nothing that you can do about it.Here are the rules:1) During the draft, each round will be by position. You must pick someone in the remaining top 15 each time ex) R1: QB, R2: RB, R3: WR etc. Not sure if I'm sold on this idea of position drafting, but it's been suggested.2) No waiver wire is allowed during the season. You may trade if you like.3) Every position must contain a playerThoughts?
11/12/2013 8:46:55 AM
^^ I would offer Tate to the Foster owner and see what I could get. Otherwise I would drop Tate out of those 3.
11/12/2013 9:06:00 AM
^My plan was to try and trade Tate to the Foster owner since he's hurting at RB, BUT ESPN rules won't allow me to make a trade while I have a player on IR that isn't eligible. The issue is I have Andre Brown on IR, he now has to come off, but I can only have 5 RBs on roster, so to take Brown off, I have to drop someone. I tried trading but ESPN blocks it until I clean up my roster(wooomp wooomp).I'd rather have Reed than either of those other 2. Reed is getting more targets than the other 2 and seems to be healthy. Tony G might start getting more looks with White drawing more attention, but he's getting less targets than either of those 2. I'd make the trade for either if you could, but I'd swing for Reed over Gates.
11/12/2013 10:42:12 AM
^yeah that sucks. Stupid rule by ESPN on the trading an IR guy.
11/12/2013 10:50:49 AM
In my league, I have been offered two trades where I would be receiving Vincent Jackson. In one I'd give up Percy Harvin, in the other I'd give up Riley Cooper. My league is a 14 team non-ppr keeper league where you can keep up to 4 players between seasons. QBs get 6 points for TD passes, 1 point per 10 rush/receiving yards and 1 point per 10 punt return yards. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE flex, 1 K, 1 DST)My Team (* designates potential keeper)QBRussell WIlsonTerrelle PryorSeneca WallaceRBLe'Veon Bell*Alfred Morris*Ben Tate*WR/TECalvin Johnson*Julius Thomas*Percy Harvin*Riley CooperHarry DouglasEmmanuel SandersKMason CrosbyDSTSteelersMy team is 7-3 right now, with the playoffs starting in week 14 and I'm currently in good shape if I keep winning. Harvin and Cooper are both on a bye in week 12, while Jackson has already had his.I'm thinking Megatron, Morris, and Bell are almost locks as keepers, leaving one spot left for either Tate, Harvin, or Thomas. Thomas seems like a stud with Manning at QB, Tate will likely be a starter somewhere, and then Harvin's sort of an unknown right now. Figuring out where Harvin falls in my keeper situation plays a big part in whether I'd want to trade him.Are either of these trades a good idea for me right now? I am concerned that 2 of my top 4 WR/TE are on a bye in week 12, but is it worth giving up the production of Cooper with Foles or the potential of Harvin going forward? Thanks in advance
11/12/2013 11:00:34 AM
I'd do jackson for cooper in a heartbeat. too early to think about your other keepers. maybe harvin blows up, maybe he gets injured again.
11/12/2013 12:07:36 PM
What makes it such a no-brainer, just out of curiosity? Cooper seems to be a preferred target for Foles, who I don't see getting replaced. Another factor is I'm playing against Foles this week, does that make a difference? I mean I generally aim to field the best possible lineup regardless of what anyone else is doing, but it might be nice to potentially absorb most of what Foles does against me by having Cooper active. It's very tempting though, I may pull the trigger on that one before the day's over.
11/12/2013 12:56:27 PM
^I just think overall Jacksons upside (keeper wise as well) is higher than Cooper's. Yes Cooper is getting a ton of targets from Foles, but Kelly won't even commit to Foles being the starter the rest of the year, and Vick didn't throw to Cooper that much when he was the QB.As far as Cooper going against Foles, that is always nice until Cooper doesn't catch any TD passes.Better QB the rest of the year Ben Roethlisberger or Matt Ryan?
11/12/2013 1:06:40 PM
^Roethlisberger. But I like Case Keenum better than both if he's available in your league.I wasn't really factoring in keeper value for Cooper or Jackson. Jackson is good but he's 30 and I like keeping young guys with high potential for a number of years (like Harvin, if he weren't incapable of staying healthy). ]
11/12/2013 1:11:06 PM
With due to injuries, Brady is my only QB on my roster and he's going up against the Panthers Monday night. Are any of these guys worth picking up to potentially play over Brady (-4 for INTs, btw)...?McCown v BALGlennon v ATLKeenum v OAKRoethlisberger v DETI'm leaning towards just going with Brady even with the tough matchup against Carolina, but I wanted to get other opinions as well.
11/12/2013 1:43:28 PM
Keenum > Glennon > Roethlisberger > Brady > McCown this week, IMO
11/12/2013 1:48:25 PM
Yeah I'm trying to decide on Brady or Foles. Even though Brady is playing the Panther D, I just see him playing well coming off the bye on a Monday night. With his full compliment of players back, maybe he's back to his old self.I just can't imagine playing any of those other guys over Brady even if he has a tough matchup.[Edited on November 12, 2013 at 2:05 PM. 11/12/2013 2:04:45 PM
Yeah I'm torn. I'm with you ^, Brady coming off a bye, on MNF seems like a game where he'd really step up. But Glennon and Keenum are both somewhat intriguing free agents out there...
11/12/2013 2:11:49 PM
QB2: Glennon vs ATL or Flacco @ CHI (6 points per TD pass)WR2: VJax vs ATL or Fitgerald @ JAC (PPR)[Edited on November 12, 2013 at 2:14 PM. Reason : I think Brady is still must start]
11/12/2013 2:12:21 PM
After Brady's last game, you gotta start him. If they're gonna beat the Panthers they're gonna have to throw it, and Brady knows that.I'd go Flacco, Bears D is pretty bad, Tillman just put on IR, and Buccs offense seems to be geared to focus on the run more now after making Glennon throw it 40 times a game the first 3-4 weeks.I like VJax over Fitz. Mainly because I could see Arizona not wanting Carson forcing things, and instead just trying to establish the run game and play good defense.

last place team in my league that is already eliminated from the playoffs just did the following trade with a mid pack team:gave away Peyton for romo and Cruzjoke of a trade
11/12/2013 9:45:25 PM
Not sure why the last place team would do it, but the trade isn't egregious. Cruz is a borderline top 10 WR, the difference b/w Manning and Romo may or may not be that.. especially considering health
11/12/2013 11:24:54 PM
^Eh, Cruz has struggled a bit lately(mainly because Eli has struggled), and he has top 10 WR potential but his numbers don't support that this season. (Cruz hasn't scored a TD or eclipsed 100 yards since Week 4) So either this person just really thinks Cruz has a nice bounce-back for the rest of the season, or it's collusion. And don't get me started on Romo, since his 40+ point game, he's really been flopping it up a bit in fantasy. Romo has thrown 3 TDs or more 3 times this season. Peyton has done it 7 times.I'm not saying it's a horrendous trade, but it's a pretty lopsided trade for the person getting Peyton. I have Romo and Cruz in a couple of leagues, and I find it hard to start either with confidence.
11/13/2013 8:47:46 AM
I've got a logjam of teams that look playable for D/ST this week, what do you think:Bears vs. BALRavens @ CHIBrowns @ CINTitians vs. IND (would have left them out, but after last week....)
11/13/2013 8:51:13 AM
^^^^^ I would lean yes on that trade. And I'd prefer Ellington over Jackson[Edited on November 13, 2013 at 9:21 AM. Reason : Arrows]
11/13/2013 8:54:38 AM
^^browns IMOWas offered this trade (0.5 PPR)I get Josh Gordon, Alfred Morris/or Eddie Lacy (one or the other)And give up: AJ Green and Sproles/Woodhead (one or the other)We do get 1 point per 20 return yards which applies to Sproles. One thing I'm really looking at, Sproles has to play SF, CAR twice, and SEA. Green still has his bye, Gordon does not. I'm pretty much a lock to make the playoffs at this point though, so worrying about who has a bye next week might be a waste of time. I'm leaning no...but wanted to get a second opinionFwiw, my WRs (start 3) are: AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, TY Hilton. RBs (start 2): Reggie Bush, Woodhead, Sproles (I'm just playing match up between Woodhead and Sproles)[Edited on November 13, 2013 at 11:24 AM. Reason : Hh]
11/13/2013 11:23:09 AM
I thought no immediately. Sproles and Woodhead are more valuable than either of those 2 in a PPR, equal at worst. Definitely not worth the downgrade from Green to Gordon. Loss all the way around.Lacy and Morris just don't catch passes. [Edited on November 13, 2013 at 11:48 AM. Reason : ^]
11/13/2013 11:47:52 AM
Palmer vs Jacksonville Or Tolzien vs NYGNormal QB on a bye.
11/13/2013 4:02:26 PM
palmer vs jax. i'm keeping an eye on matt flynn in GB. i don't think it happens this week, but i'm guessing he's the starter for a couple weeks or so before rodgers comes back.
11/13/2013 4:29:47 PM
Chris Johnson tonight vs. Colts or Andre Brown Sunday vs. Packers?
11/14/2013 7:17:42 AM
I'd lean towards Andrethe Packers have given up 375 rushing yards over the past two games (granted they faced two of the best RBs in the league in Forte and McCoy)
11/14/2013 7:58:36 AM
Andre.Matt Ryan vs. TB or Brady vs. Carolina? I'm leaning towards Ryan.
11/14/2013 8:07:53 AM
RyanTorrey Smith @ ChicagoorPercy Harvin (limited) vs Minn
11/14/2013 9:19:26 AM
^I like both options but if Harvin goes I'd give him a shot, I could see him going off against his old team and so far this season everyone returning from injuries has had a solid first game.Curious, why is everyone so down on Brady this week? I understand the Panthers have a top notch D, but if they're weak anywhere it's against the pass. Coming off a monster week and then the BYE, all his weapons healthy, Vereen back, I just don't see how you can sit Brady, esp. for someone like Matt Ryan(White is banged up, Tony G is banged up, and Revis is back to shutting people down).
11/14/2013 9:39:21 AM
^^ I'd have to go w/Smith unless you're a gambler and think the rest of your team can pick up the slack if Harvin is very limited. I dropped Marvin Jones for Harvin last week, but I'm waiting to see how he performs this week before starting him. Thanks to Mike James' injury and bye weeks, my starting RB's this week are R. Mendenhall and D. Woodhead...
11/14/2013 10:11:58 AM
Panthers D is #4 in the league against the pass, allowing 201 yd/gm and 7 receiving TDs all yearPatriots pass offense is 18th in the league, averaging 238 yd/gm and scoring 13 TDs all year.Very meh matchup for Brady. As I am a panther fan though, I expect him to blow up. I hope he gets destroyed though.
11/14/2013 10:25:39 AM
Haha so I traded Cooper for Jackson and then on Wednesday Megatron misses practice and Harvin and VJax are both limited, all listed as questionable for Sunday. Hopefully I can field 3 starting WR/TEs.Which 2 would you all start at RB from A. Morris, L. Bell, or B. Tate? I have Tate sitting right now.
11/14/2013 10:37:29 AM
^^Have you seen the pass offenses they've faced so far this season? Panthers have faced 2 of the top 15 passing attacks in the NFL, and the Falcons didn't have Julio or Roddy so those rankings are a bit skewed from earlier in the season. Also hard to take the "Patriots passing attack ranked 18th" too serious since Gronk missed several weeks, as did Amendola and now Vereen. Panthers should be able to get some pressure, but I still think you gotta go Brady over Ryan.I'd bench Tate of those 3. He hasn't really had a strong game yet and they seem to be more keen on passing the ball, so until he really establishes himself on the ground, have to ride your other 2 more proven backs.
11/14/2013 12:50:41 PM
time to pick up Delanie Walker? Damn 10 catches
