One of the largest road blocks I've found so far is that people are so programmed to think that they are helpless.

That pisses me off.

We need to think like a repressed people.

Q: Who are some of the most powerful/effective repressed people in the world?

A: Terrorists.

Now before everyone has a cow...I don't want to blow anything up or hurt anyone.

However, the terrorists feel they have been beaten down decades, if not longer. They refuse to take it lying down.

Think about it....The leaders of some middle eastern countries are friends with our leaders here in the U.S.

No....I won't go there. Not too many of you could handle that.

Let me say this. We just need a simple plan that is effective.

It'll take creativity and a willingness to try something new. The end result is our purpose.

the whole point of a boycott is to show that you're willing to do without a product until your demands are met. A temporary gas boycott is just dumb - it only proves that you can't possibly do without gas. Better plan is to reduce your total gas usage. Try walking and trade in the damn Yukon

And yes, American gas is cheap compared to the rest of the world. Down the street from me this week it's $6/gallon.

I'd really rather not compare what I pay for gas with people who live on a small island and don't have any damn where to f'n drive.
