It didn't sound bitchy.

I can see it that way, but there's the issue of distance and the fact that I'm fucking terrified of flying and driving to NYC is not so good because of the car situation when I get there...also, her career is such that she needs to be able to pick up and go at a moment's notice, and that doesn't provide the kind of touchstone that a long distance relationship needs to work at its toughest times. I don't begrudge her that, though, so we feel like this is the best plan.
