In my mind, its the duty of the siblings to look out for each other (my sister is older). With your younger sister, you should have been the one in her life that she could look up to and you should have been there to protect her, which should still be a strong feeling up to this day. (Obviously it degrades past some point when everyone becomes mature adults, move away, and all)
