in my own experience, no one 1-2 years removed from high school ought to be dating anyone who is 8-10 years removed.

though, i do see it a LOT more often with guys who don't leave their small hometowns, and end up tying up with some likewise unambitious fucktart who just wants to date the guy who now coaches the local JV basketball team.

a very good former friend of mine (he's 28 as well) hasn't moved out of Elizabeth City (ever), and is known for nothing more than dating girls aged between 18-20. It's like, a running joke in the area. And he ain't the only one.

^^I've noticed that happens too. A few guys I know from my hometown who have never left end up dating girls that are more and more younger than them. I guess it's cause most of the girls their age have left town, and the ones that have come back are no interested in them.

a guy i went to grad school with was notorious for dating freshmen girls. he was almost 30. he'd go through about 2-3 girls a semester. last time i talked to him he's still at it.

my ex was about 4 years younger than me, so she was almost turning 22 when we started dating. i thought she was pretty mature for her age, but it turned out she was fucking crazy and immature like all the others she was awesome in bed though so at least i can say something positive about that waste of 3 years of my life
