What I'm really excited about is my pink breast cancer Brett Favre jersey signed by Ben Roethlisberger, Annika Sorenstam, Lorena Ochoa, and a bunch of other LPGA girls. :o)

Yeah it costs too much to ship stuff out here. I'm coming back permanently this summer anyway so I told my parents not to waste the money.

got my baby out before xmas, which is great because i was worried i'd spend xmas in the hospital. instead i spent all of my birthday and the next day in labor... but still, no xmas in the hospital!

best gift this year (from my husband, of course!):
his dad was kind enough to build it, since i was in the hospital when we were supposed to go visit them so he could secretly construct it in their basement...

i do fruit smoothies after work outs and also sometimes another kind of smoothie that sounds disgusting but is really yummy (romaine lettuce, pineapple & ginger root)

i also love to froth my chocolate soy milk in the morning with some protein powder & fiber powder. i use the small cup with the twin blade and it froths it up perfectly and allows me to get some nutrition in my coffee!

i'd like to use it to grind coffee and maybe beans for espresso but i dont know if i need a separate appliance for the espresso sized granuals?

it really is amazing because you drink out of the container you mix in and everything can be tossed in the dishwasher!

i got a magic bullet a few years ago and it smells a little funny everytime i use it - like something is burning i don't really use it much anymore but i mostly used it for chopping up herbs, garlic, etc and occassionally made smoothies and mixed drinks.

I wouldn't think so. You would just have to grind it for awhile to get it fine enough. If you've never ground coffee before just put some preground coffee on a plate and compare what's in your grinder to what's on the plate.

^^ that sounds ab right, i will try it

and the burning smell.. mine gets that too i think its normal. you're kind of supposed to pulse the blades and not let the motor run for too long or you DEF get the burning smell

oh we also used it to crush ice for martinis bc it made finer ice than the crusher in the freezer thingy

I got a lot of stuff I really needed/wanted.

- Four sci-fi books, so my brain doesn't go to mush while working where I work now.
- An awesome book called something like the Guy's Guide or something, with instructions on everything from tying a tie, to fighting off bear attacks, to holding a baby.
- A Casio keyboard with a stand, so I can learn a musical instrument (to prevent my brain from going to mush more effectively than the books).
- A rice cooker (so awesome).
- A spotting scope (I have a riverside apartment about 200 ft in the air, so I can see cool shit with this).
- Two thermal henleys.
- One thermal shirt.
- Two cotton sweaters.
- Socks.
- Christmas boxers (of course, tradition).
- Variety of stocking stuffer gifts.
- A set of four modern looking scotch glasses (100% tits).
- A black leather belt.
