well it started out as a really hot day in june & as houston weather does, it turned into a massive thunderstorm

we were really enjoying ourselves and figured why leave when we're already wet from the rain? when we finally left, we were walking to my car in the parking desk & strangely enough, one of his mba professors drives by & stops. he explained that he was working (it was saturday) and i called him lame. (haha oops)

he had an mba dinner thing that night (so he said, later found out he had another date and we drank all the wine AND he was already hours late) so i offered for him to come to my house & put his clothes in the dryer.

we did not sex0r, i promise. but it took everything i had. i liked him and didn't want to blow it (literally or otherwise haha)

AH i just remembered a cute detail. i had just moved to the area and he told me to meet him in the park at transco tower. i told him i didnt know what that was. so he found a google image of the tower (which is very recognizable) and MS painted 2 stick figures and wrote "you + me = fun" and sent it to me. i wish i saved the picture!

ahhh, that dilemma.

every single time i've ever turned down sex for that reason, i never got another chance.

on the other hand, i'm pretty sure i've ruined my long-term chances once or twice by striking while the iron was hot.

it's been nice, to be honest.

subsequently its also been the healthiest relationship ive been a part of, ever.

went to a bar for a friend's birthday...she showed up, knew a lot of the people present and so joined the group. she was confident, intelligent, and pretty much struck me as awesome.

later that night, when I was shit-faced, I put my arm around her and started nuzzling my face into her shoulder. She turned, saw me and said "Take your hand off me." I did so, and said "Come home with me." She said "I'm not going home with you." I said, "Honestly, I think you're the coolest girl I've ever met. Can I get your e-mail?" She seemed charmed by this, and gave it to me. We went out for coffee about a week later, totally hit it off, and it began. One of only two girls I've ever loved.

My roomate and I used to go into his bar almost daily to feed our chicken wing addiction. I never really took much notice to him considering I figured that I was just another customer to him, there were moments where I could have easily picked up on the fact that there might have been more to it but I was to shy to really even notice it or make any sort of conversation.

On Thanksgiving of last year we went in and it was completly dead so we decided to sit at the bar for the first time which caused me to get over being shy and talk to him. We were making Christmas ornaments out of stacks of coasters that he had handed us and after crafting an amazing Jack Daniels ornament he asked me to sign it. At this point he had introduced me to one of his friends who had taken and interest in me and brought up that he had a girlfriend I decided that I was never one to care and left him my number anyway.

Later that night I was at home feeling like a complete idiot for doing so until I got a txt from him. We went to the bar the next night, since he was getting off work early he invited me and my roomate to go to Jackpot with him. He actually ended up spending the night at my aparment and we have spent every night together since then

Buddy of mine was trying to get with this girl, so he invited her to go to the beach for his birthday. She agreed to go, but didn't want to go alone, so she brought a friend. I was therefore recruited, mainly to play wingman and keep the friend distracted, but also because he thought I and the other girl might get along, he said rather casually.

Nothing happened on the trip itself but I really liked her; asked her out at the end of the drive home. We've been together for about 2.5 years now, moved in together last June.

My friend and the other girl are still together too, oddly enough (though with a couple of break up and get back togethers in their case)
