The only thing that screws me is my fiance's dad has NO balls when dealing with her step mom so when i resist things she's surprised by it and sometimes offended.
7/26/2011 11:20:50 AM
You guys didn't get past that before getting engaged?
7/26/2011 11:23:29 AM
lol...dude everyone has their flaws... and we both know our own it just takes us getting through that stubborn moment to remember that. When i'm mad about something (not her) i tend to be a complete ass for no good reason and then i apologize.
7/26/2011 11:28:05 AM
I think they did get past it. It appears that he has accepted it.[Edited on July 26, 2011 at 11:29 AM. Reason : No need.]

Ok, summary: -Went out to a bar last night-wife had my set of keys because she drove my car elsewhere-I call while out and tell her I'll need to be let into the building when I get home-she says ok no prob-I get home at 1 AM this morning after drinking with buds and when she comes down to let me in she's pissed.Still was pissed this morning about how late I woke her up. Said it was inconsiderate to stay out so late knowing I needed to wake her.I think she has anger management issues.tl;dr
7/29/2011 9:24:58 AM
I think a lot of guys don't realize that what we see as anger management issues is just standard female temperament. They're good at hiding it for a while from guys, but it's always there. The good ones can handle/control/use it as motivation for good. Those are the women you stick with.[Edited on July 29, 2011 at 9:35 AM. Reason : I get berated daily but sometimes it inspires her to clean/cook/do something nice for me]
7/29/2011 9:34:30 AM
whoa wait - she didn't need to pick you up.....just let you into the building when you got home and she's pissed at you for that??????
7/29/2011 9:35:52 AM
That's what I asked her...would she have come to pick me up if I didn't have a ride, and she said absolutely. But that, somehow, this was different.Women be crazy sometimes yo.
7/29/2011 9:45:06 AM
7/29/2011 9:47:14 AM
this is all idle bullshit but this is fun so I will list them here...- she uses my razor ever though she has her own.- she uses my tooth brush even though she has her own- she leaves the cap off the toothpaste and then the toothpaste get everywherethe next house we buy i'm going to have my own bathroom
7/29/2011 10:10:48 AM
haha, i need to take a picture of the vanity in our bathroom. my side and her side contrast hilariously. hers looks like a cosmetics counter exploded.
7/29/2011 10:12:41 AM
^see I'm all worried about that I'm single (DUH) so I don't feel so bad when I look at my counter and my make-up n hair shit is EVERYWHERE, but I worry about containing it when I do get a man.
7/29/2011 10:17:51 AM
I think I have five things on my side of the counter. He has 20.
7/29/2011 11:10:14 AM
have you people not heard of cabinets or drawers?keep it clean yall. hand soap dispenser and maybe a toothbrush holder on the counter, nothing more, nothing less.
7/29/2011 11:12:14 AM
7/29/2011 11:12:19 AM
I keep toothbrush, toothpaste, hand soap, hand lotion, hair brush and deodorant out.
7/29/2011 11:14:00 AM
mine starts off on a mirrored tray...but by the end of the week is sprawled out on my counter lolthen I clean it back up over the weekend, only for the process to start all over again

So the GF has 'convinced' me (read: Voluntold) to drive down to Sunset Beach this evening after work where she and her family are vacationing this week. A trip to the beach wouldn't normally be a problem except for the fact that they have to be out of the house by tomorrow around lunchtime when we will head up to my brother's place at Wrightsville. She doesn't seem to realize how much of a waste of my time it is to go all the way to sunset rather than just meeting at Wrightsville tomorrow.
7/29/2011 11:43:15 AM
Looks like someone has to pay the "quality time with the folks" tax.Sucks man.
7/29/2011 11:50:47 AM
haha thats exactly what it is. fml.

7/29/2011 2:17:07 PM
^ about the same here. My toothbrush and jewelry box stay out. That's it. Meanwhile, the bf has approx 15 bottles of hair product and cologne on the counter at any time.Funny.
7/29/2011 2:22:53 PM
i couldn't deal with that.contrary to basically everything else in my life, the kitchen and bathrooms have to be clutter free.and the walls. i hate things on walls. but the girl is about to break me down on that one. but i understand that's an irrationality.
7/29/2011 2:25:36 PM
7/29/2011 2:25:50 PM
separate bathrooms FTW

1 bug = infestation to her... drives me madwe're in the woods (sort of), we're gonna get a bug or two
7/29/2011 3:45:06 PM
^ I don't like bugs in general, but I'm extremely arachnophobic, so if there's a spider around, I freak out and don't start breathing until a few minutes after it's gone. It's kinda pathetic, but large spiders in a different make me go into a fetal position on the couch.Thankfully, that's something a lot of guys I know have learned to put up with. I could never be with a guy who couldn't handle bugs though, because for the most part, I need them to be gone.Hell, I'm more okay with snakes than cockroaches.
7/29/2011 3:49:59 PM
^ live alone for a while and you'll get used to killing bugs.
7/29/2011 3:51:32 PM
I was briefly with someone who took it a step too farShe would non-chalantly stomp roaches barefoot and casually wipe it off it with a napkinLike the gut residue didn't stick
7/29/2011 3:53:38 PM
Pick up that gun......And shoot the bug right in the face.
7/29/2011 3:53:45 PM
Most bugs I've started being able to handle, I just don't like them.Spiders are a very very different story.Cockroaches just freak me out.Fuck I hate typing that word even.[Edited on July 29, 2011 at 3:54 PM. Reason : ^^ That's nasty.]
7/29/2011 3:53:59 PM
Time to go home and see if the wife is still pissed.
7/29/2011 3:55:51 PM
he gets really annoyed when i ask him to go to target with me, he reluctantly agrees, and we end up going 10 other places after target. lol
8/7/2011 4:52:55 PM
^^ that sucks. Why would she be pissed?
8/7/2011 4:58:28 PM
Because she's a woman and he's a man
8/7/2011 5:00:27 PM
^^^ lolI'm only laughing because I've been suckered into that on multiple occasions
8/7/2011 5:32:19 PM
we ONLY went to target today, but honestly i thought to myself several times of other places where i could make a quick stop!
8/7/2011 5:40:50 PM
She constantly does that shit to me."Hey let's go get some beer at the Teeter.""ok."an hour later, we're done with a grocery shopping trip that has me set on food for 2 weeks, but I also need to see a chiropractor.
8/8/2011 11:08:06 AM
In our house it often goes something like this:Her: "Can we pleeeease go to target? I want a new candle/bookshelf/etc"Me: "Sure if we go to Lowe's afterward"Her: Me: ]
8/8/2011 11:17:34 AM
hahaha...i'm glad my wife prefers to go shopping alone.
8/8/2011 11:44:46 AM
My wife dresses like she's always on the way to play basketball ... wearing MY basketball clothes and t-shirtsMe: "I will watch the kids by myself if you will go to the store and buy yourself some girl clothes"Her: "Great ... But I need to go grocery shopping instead ... be back in an hour"Me: "What the hell were you doing all day!!"
8/8/2011 11:54:52 AM
^ does she dress feminine at all?Tell her you're going on a date next week and she has to dress up, see what happens. That's kinda frustrating... I'd much prefer walking around in capris/pants or tshirt all the time, but I dress more nicely sometimes to see my man... :/
8/8/2011 12:01:36 PM
^^ dude wtf...are you dating a butch? she could at least trade in the uniform for a wife beater and boxers
8/8/2011 12:03:17 PM
^^^ Is she over weight?? I know a lot of girls after they have kids and don't work off the baby weight "give up" and where comfy oversized cloths to hide the weight. Some refuse to by new clothing that they can actually fit into and think they will wait until they drop the weight and can fit into their old cloths.
8/8/2011 12:16:05 PM
That's just it ... she is rocking when she wears something form fitting... shes like 5-11 and 145 ... really looks great. She doesnt like clothes that keep the heat close to her body. She feels like shorts and a t-shirt is more comfortable than most of the other more feminine and modest clothes out there. Key being modest ... yes, she could wear something sexy, but that's just not how we roll.
