No, I only get alignments if there's weird tire wear, car is pulling to one side, steering wheel isn't straight, or I do some significant suspension work.

All my ball caps are some sort of adjustable.

I figure I'm about a 70. I'm not an expert at anything, but I can figure out just about everything.

I sent a sample off from an engine that had a cracked head and coolant in the oil to see how much babbit was in the oil to help me decide if I wanted to replace the heads or the engine. Ended up replacing the engine since it likely had significant bottom end wear and 180k miles on it already. I used the same service we were using for equipment oil analysis where I worked at the time.

That type of stuff is pointless for normal folks with normal cars unless there's some specific issue you're working on. Just change the oil regularly. What are you going to do with the information anyway? What action will it drive one to take?

I've done it a few times for various reasons. One was to see how a particular "gimmick" oil faired, a few other times to see if I could lengthen the OCI. The manual for my car I want to say says 7500, but thats actually way too long due to unburned gas or something. Something about tdgi engines where the gas gets sprayed after the valves or something...thins out the oil or something. Originally car said 5w30 they put out a tsb after a year or 2 and said that engine did better with 5w40 for that reason. If i am remembering correctly

Pretty much all engines are better off with oil on the thicker side as long as the oil pump and the rest of the system can handle it. They only spec the thin stuff to cut down on friction in the engine and bump up fuel economy. Seems dumb when we just end up with engines that now need walnut blasting, piston rings, and shorter oil change intervals. I'm sure the emissions from the entire supply chain to mitigate all that along with the oil consumption outweighs any emissions reduction that GDI got us.

Basically what i am doing. I kept vanilla relatively simple. Got kind of stupid with chocolate just now. Xanthan gum and monk extract. I think i didn't make mine liquid-y enough. Seems too thick. Oh well. After licking spoon i'm sure it will be edible

Not willing to put in the amount of training hours and the last one I did I just didn't enjoy. I dealt with IT band issues for months afterwards. I'm just over it.

You seem like a handy guy. I’m going to be pitching an idea to what’s left of AOL. The new product is a WiFi enabled mailbox that pings your phone with a “You’ve got aids mail!” alert when the mailperson delivers your mail. The app will also have a chat room where you can talk to other AOL mailbox owners about mail life. The real moneymaker will be buried in the fine print that nobody reads. You bust out the creami yet? I haven't made any in a few days, just started freezing another batch of some strawberry, will be my 2nd try with it, using less ingredients this time. Forgot to add zero sugar cheesecake instant pudding mix, but after licking the spoon, i know it will taste ok. Maybe slightly less good than last time

1 scoop isopure vanilla protein powder, 2 bottles of strawberry protein shakes, 1 cup full fat cottage cheese, and 280g of frozen strawberries from costco

Last time I did full fat greek yogurt too and forgot salt. This time with the cottage cheese which is kind of naturally high in salt that should take care if that issue.

Macros(i have deluxe, the containers are 24oz vs the 16oz size of regular containers) should come to about 315 calories, 46.2g protein, 15.12g carbs, splitting that in half with someone. The remainder of the mixture i am freezing for myself...i purposely didn't reach the max fill line to see how a single serving works...there is no way i could eat a whole 24oz myself, even with good macros...simply too much

Have you ever made a batch and refreezed it and blended it again after waiting 24hr? I'm wondering how that is

I have tried peanut butter flavored with choc chips mixed in, chocolate, vanilla(both with flavored and unflavored protein, both good), and strawberry. Cookies and creme soon. Although i realized i need to keep it simple, the calories add up quick. This batch today is probably the simpliest and healthiest i've done. Need to look into sorbets and slushies etc too

Anyways...with your nephew in town might be a good time for icecream!

Haven't pulled it back out. I don't think the big tubs were an option when I got mine. Mine were 16 oz and I didn't fill them up. I made about 12 oz servings. I never did any refreezing.

Do you condition your leather belts? If so how often/what products? I am googling cause my belt always makes a rubbing noise now. Said use baby powder, beeswax, or a leather conditioner. I never have before(6ish years of ownership)

I have used stabilizers for gasoline with ethanol if it was going in something that may sit around a while, but I prefer to just buy ethanol-free gasoline. Otherwise, no. I think those treatments are mostly snake oil.

idk probably squirrels. You can just sit still in any patch of woods where they live and in 15 minutes or so, they'll start coming out. Ducks are probably one of the more difficult. Takes a lot more special equipment.

Yes, people kill them with recurve bows and handguns all the time.

Truly wild ducks that aren't used to seeing humans are much more skittish and they have good eyesight.

Freezing one with avocado tonight...have one already frozen with strawberries and put in a tablespoon of olive oil since ppl say thats healthy. When i tasted it before freezing it tasted normal
