Yeah I've seen all of Breaking Bad (watched the first 2-3 on Netflix and rest on-air) and LOVED it. Haven't watched SofA or House of Cards. I have heard good things about both. I'm caught up on Scandal and The Walking Dead....can't wait for premieres this month. I also love Orange is the New Black. Hmmm.... [Edited on February 4, 2014 at 11:36 PM. Reason : .]

I felt Breaking Bad is a love it or hate it show.If you don't get into it pretty early, its not going to grow on you.
2/4/2014 11:38:52 PM
House of Cards is good too. Not sure if the 2nd season is out yet, but I watched the 1st season over like a 1 week period.
2/4/2014 11:43:23 PM
I started HofC a while back but was doing something during and suddenly realized that it was very political and hard to follow if not fully paying attention. So I will have to restart again sometime.[Edited on February 5, 2014 at 12:15 AM. Reason : .]

I also recommend House of Cards. But Hemlock Grove is super fun and ridiculous if you feel like watching something that doesn't require much attention.
2/4/2014 11:57:46 PM
Been watching a lot of documentaries lately. This past week, I've watched Central Park Five, The Revisionaries, and Urbanized. I thought they were all really interesting and well done.

i watched House of Cards in 2 nights this past week....had to watch them to be ready for season 2 next friday...wooti queued a crap load of serial killer documentaries on my bf's netflix...he's a little concerned now
2/7/2014 8:13:05 PM
Which should I watch first? "House of Cards" or "Sons of Anarchy"?[Edited on February 7, 2014 at 8:31 PM. Reason : I have recently finished the last season of Dexter, Season 1 of The Following and all of Dr. Who]
2/7/2014 8:30:22 PM
Finally decided to get around to watching Breaking Bad on NetflixI'm a season and a half in since Sunday AIN'T. NO. SKANK.[Edited on February 7, 2014 at 8:37 PM. Reason : ^ Never seen HOC, but I can highly recommend SOA]
2/7/2014 8:36:40 PM
holy shit, house of cards comes season 2 comes out next week? Fuck yeah
2/7/2014 8:40:37 PM
2/7/2014 8:46:17 PM
Length of Seasons doesn't matter. Dr. Who had 6 or 7 seasons in Netflix. I just wanted to see which one is better. I'll watch that one first.
2/7/2014 8:47:30 PM
I dunno. Tough for me to compare a behind-the-scenes political show with a show about gun-running bikers. You can't go wrong either way, imo.
2/7/2014 8:49:23 PM
ok...house of cards first then.
2/8/2014 9:09:55 PM
Been getting into An Idiot Abroad. Pretty funny shit, and also some cool sights to see.
2/8/2014 9:15:35 PM
Oh nice, and if I finish House of Cards in time, the 2nd season is released on 2/14!
2/9/2014 2:47:29 PM
Oh how I wish Netflix would release House of Cards early. Would make being stuck inside the next few days bearable.
2/12/2014 1:41:44 PM
Visioneers was a major "wtf" kind of movie.
2/12/2014 2:09:15 PM
Just watched Jack Reacher. Pretty decent for an action film but a little over the top. It felt like Tom Cruise was a video game character given how easily he plowed through any bad guys.
2/13/2014 1:45:38 AM
House of Cards is soooo overrated at least on tww.It only got one emmy and that's because David Fincher was behind the camera.
2/13/2014 7:08:39 PM
2/13/2014 7:48:42 PM
I just think that show got really hyped because of the way it came out and that Kevin Spacey/Fincher were attached to it. It rode that hype into multiple emmy nominations and people thinking it was great just because you could watch the whole thing all at once. That blogger/reporter chick's whole storyline was absurd. Kevin Spacey hammed it up. There were no stakes at all. Even if there were the show failed at making loss of power feel dangerous. The only character I liked was the drunk.
2/13/2014 9:36:55 PM
what shows won Emmy's ahead of it?
2/13/2014 9:57:48 PM
2/13/2014 10:04:22 PM
Ugh, banal argument. That is not what I meant. The drunk was the only character I found interesting. That characters sucked and so did the writing. The antihero genre is dead. This show is just washing up after the tide of Breaking Bad. It is outdated. It sucks.Maybe Season 2 will be better.
2/13/2014 11:40:50 PM
I wouldn't go so far as to say it sucks, there are a bunch of readily apparent flaws in it though and it doesn't measure up to other top tier dramas.
2/13/2014 11:50:33 PM
Just tried watching an idiot abroad, had to stop, I really really did not like it[Edited on February 14, 2014 at 11:39 PM. Reason : $$$]
2/14/2014 11:38:40 PM
I'm just now watching season one of HoC. I watched 6 yesterday since I wasn't celebrating Valentine's Day . But honestly, i don't have a ton of anxiousness to turn it back on and binge like I have with other shows.
2/15/2014 9:56:14 AM
Yea it doesn't suck. I guess what I mean is that it gets too much praise for what it is. If they hired better writers for season 2 I feel like they could turn it around. The rest of the pieces are in place. Good actors and an amazing director.
2/15/2014 11:43:37 AM
I saw the first episode of season 2. Holy crap, I didn't see that coming...
2/15/2014 11:48:43 AM
anyone checked out Somm? I watched it last night. Pretty interesting, the rigorous training and studying these guys have to go through to become a Master Sommelier.
2/16/2014 6:34:28 PM
There Will Be Blood
2/16/2014 7:12:38 PM
Prison Break was pretty solid. Got a little slow in Season 3 but had good closure when the series ended in season 4.On to Burn Notice now, a few episodes in. Pretty entertaining show.
3/15/2014 12:11:23 AM
can't believe Netflix recommended Sizzling Bacon, let alone made it
4/2/2014 12:27:50 AM
I'm unclear what Sizzling Bacon is exactly, but I'm confident it's > Prison Break.
4/2/2014 12:35:08 AM
I dare you to watch the whole thing without fast forwarding. It's only 20 minutes long.
4/2/2014 12:41:54 AM
I can do twenty minutes of anything if I can take periodic breaks to joke on people who watch Burn Notice.
4/2/2014 12:50:40 AM
nope, you have to watch it all in one sitting, then you can clown on people for watching other pro-grums
4/2/2014 12:52:53 AM
Jumanji - kinda silly but pretty intense Mr. Bean's Holiday - laughed my ass off
4/6/2014 10:13:47 AM
Idiot abroad is really funny if you are into Top Gear British humor.
4/6/2014 12:09:44 PM
The To Do List I thought it was funny.
4/7/2014 12:01:10 AM
are Leverage or White Collar any good?
4/13/2014 8:55:05 PM
They would probably be appealing to someone who enjoyed Burn Notice. That's not a joke either. They're slick, entertaining, and slightly edgy but with zero potential to really offend anyone. Very enjoyable shows.
4/13/2014 10:21:10 PM
Thanks for the input. How do you know so much about so many TV shows? Are you a Vuzer?
4/13/2014 10:59:23 PM
Vuze is bloatware. I don't know what that means, but I think it's bad. And I don't watch either of those shows regularly so somebody else needs to chime in, too.
4/14/2014 2:11:35 AM
leverage takes a sharp decline after the first season
4/14/2014 8:38:53 AM
Instant watch movies on Netflix are all pretty fucking horrible right now. You can get a good independent film every now and then...but the value in Netflix now is in their original series and other tv shows.
4/14/2014 9:51:26 AM
Iron SkyNazi's attack in 2018 from the moon. Great concept, mediocre execution, but still worth a watch.
4/21/2014 8:44:19 PM
^^They add some good movies all the time but they're usually older moviesfor example, they recently added Coneheads
