I've stayed in that monstrosity before. It's like the Harrelson Hall of hotels.
6/4/2025 10:25:32 AM
Has it always been Holiday Inn? I thought it was something else before, like crowne plaza or something
6/4/2025 6:56:40 PM
It has always been a holiday inn. It was not unique, as holiday inn built quite a few of them in the late 60s/70s.
6/8/2025 9:06:13 PM
Oh i remember what c word...clarion? Is that a hotel going toward downtown that looked shitty? Near where a road split off i think
6/8/2025 9:33:53 PM
I was inside of you Saturday. Holy fuck it has changed. Still some Raleigh hipsters, they are just pushing strollers. That development around Boylan and the warehouse district doesn’t look the same at all. I even got lost and I lived down there forever. Dix park is unreal. Overall impressed, especially with family colored glasses.Took a Lyft to Cary and it doesn’t look the same either. Park there was cool. Looking at Zillow it looks like there is stuff for sale for back to earth prices. Saw a tear down ITB for 500k. Even saw affordable places around in the 400s. Felt like when I looked last year a vinyl siding house in garner was in the 600s.
