I have some really strange habits regarding cleanliness and order...like my desk, room, etc. can and will be cluttered to the point where I can't find anything, but I'm fastidious about keeping the interior of my car clean...clean laundry will get dumped unceremoniously on the floor or on my bed if I need the basket, but the shirts and pants hanging in my closet are ordered by color and must all face the same way...my papers, bills, and mail are in disorderly piles but all my books (2+ tall bookcases' worth) are arranged alpha by subject, and alpha by author within a subject...I'll leave dirty dishes sitting in the sink for days, but when I wash them, anything that gets washed by hand I scrub well and rinse near-obsessively...

And probably the strangest one--I also keep all my CD's in alphabetical order. This in itself is not so weird, but the fact that whenever I buy a new one, I move every CD after it down by one space to make room, kind of is. If I buy a CD by an artist early in the alphabet, I'll have to move 150+ CDs to make room. For some reason, the act of methodically shifting a large part of the collection by one slot is oddly therapeutic.

If I can hear a clock ticking, it gets on my nerves sometimes (especially when I'm trying to fall asleep). When I had to study, I used to put all the clocks in range under pillows or couches, so they wouldn't disturb me.

That's why I like having a fan in the room...masks the ticking.

I also hate ticking noises from analog clocks. Drives me crazy. I can heard that damn ticking noise from across my house. I have one analog clock in my room, but it's in my closet and only look at it when I get my clothes.

I also like sleeping with the fan on. I donno, it's a really soothing sound to me and I can fall asleep faster and better.

Oh, I hate the high pitch noise from the old tube TV's. I would hear those things on when I enter my house. It drove me crazy because my parents couldn't hear it and I'd continuously have to tell them to turn off the tv, not just the cable box. They'd be like "oh, it can't be on", then I press the power button and they see the turn off flash... My brother never heard it either...

I like clocks but anything else ticking gets on my nerves quickly.

I play the drums and at random times during the day I tap on any surface I can find w/o realizing that I'm doing it. It doesn't bother my wife but other people I'm sure hate it. I try not to do it but it happens.

I have to have some kind of air movement when i sleep, be it a fan or an open window with a breeze.

Problem is, i fucking hate the sound of fans, my ceiling fan squeaks, and my window faces the parking lot and is always noisy as hell.

I think im just not going to get decent, regular sleep while im living at this place.

I also enjoy sitting down, even when peeing, because I find it relaxing.

I have this really weird allergy condition where one of my nostrils is always blocked off, like a cold, and my available nostril changes throughout the day.

One of my feet is 1/2 size longer than the other. I have the highest arches of anybody I have ever met. My footprint consists only of my toes and my heel; there is no middle section.

One of my ribs also sticks out more than the other.

I have the longest fingers of anybody I have ever met. I also have the hairiest legs of anybody I've ever met.

I have trouble sleeping without the white noise. I've been sleeping to it since I was a baby.

I sneeze because of the sunlight nearly every time I go outside after being inside for long periods of time.
