I guess I think the point in getting married is to further solidify a relationship. I honestly kind of see it as a holdover from times past. Don't get me wrong, I think that marriage is a wonderful thing....but I also think that people stand a lot to loose if a divorce happens, whereas they would not be losing the same things if a couple stayed together without getting married.

To me, marriage means being with my wife....FOREVER. As a child of divorce, that's something I would never want to do to my kids. Having said that, I want to make absolutely sure that I'm marrying the right one that I will be happy with....FOREVER

If I had to pick between the two, I guess I see marriage as more of a legal binding. I think the religious/spiritual binding should happen way before marriage.

If I had to choose one 'human factor', it would probably be cognitive workload. It's really easy to overload a pilot, commander, driver, etc... At that point, shit falls out of the sky and burns.

But when it comes down to it, it's almost impossible to single out one component. All 'factors' are tied into each other in one way or another

They sent out a memo earlier saying that they are going to have to let go an additional 760 people. That's bringing the grand total up to about 1000. So, a few years ago, they hired 800 people to work on VH-71. They had also staffed for two proposals that fell through (about 200 people). That 1000 number brings us back down to current staffing needs. They're not going to hire anyone this year (I don't think), and there will be no co-ops or interns this summer (I don't think).

I saw about 15 people being escorted out my security this week. By the end of the summer, my facility is going to look like a ghost town
