^ Considering he evaded the cops for several hours Sunday, he was probably better off in jail. But if he tries to be sneaky this time and skip out on court, he'll have to answer to a bondsman who will prob break his legs rather than the bumbling Keystone Kops of Kary.

And yeah, $30,000 isn't too crazy to post if the parents had assets that could easily be made liquid.

^^^^ Yeah, it's amazing how a rapist can get right back out on the streets like that. But I guess since we don't really know the exact nature of the charges it's possible they figured he wasn't a flight risk or dangerous. I don't really know how that works. Like if you kill somebody in a situation that is clearly not self defense, you don't get to go home the next day usually, do you?

If he used any of the bail bondsmen I knew in Raleigh, he'll fulfill all of his requirements if he knows what's best for him. I used to wait tables and had a regular customer named Mr. Poindexter. Poindexter terrified me from the moment I saw him ... looked like he walked off the set of The Sopranos. Tough, tough guy. Turns out he owns a bail bond/surety service agency.

^ Capital crimes are generally not bailable.
