I use claude but not that much. i usually default to chatgpt and use gemini/claude/grok/perplexity if i want a 2nd opinion. "better" depends on "what for." claude's been in the same league as chatgpt for general purpose use basically since it came out. but since it came out a few months after chatgpt, it didn't pick up as many users.

for coding specifically though, anthropic's models have typically been considered the best ones to use, although every couple months the frontier leaders will outdo each other bit by bit. all the models are quite good these days though, and the competitive advantage tends to be more oriented around cost, speed and suitability for agentic products.

i'm not an Inbox Zero absolutist, but yeah I like to keep my inbox organized

I use Gemini and NotebookLM daily because that is the tool approved for use by my organization

we have guidelines restricting our use of outside tools (unapproved by InfoSec and legal) for problems which involve confidential information or protected data
