Have faith in yourself. I've got some monterously long reads coming up and I am still feeling pretty good about my goal. You were flyin' through some books there for a while.

you've given me hope

1) The First World War -- John Keegan2) Zone One -- Colson Whitehead3) A Game of Thrones4) A Clash of Kings5) A Storm of Swords6) A Feast for Crows7) Keep the Change -- Steve Dublanica8) A Dance with Dragons9) Would it kill you to stop doing that? -- Henry Alford (not as informative or funny as hoped)10) Cruising Attitude -- I don't even remember who -- It was awful, but I learned a lot about the airline industry11) Triumph of the City -- Edward Glaesar - meh12) Warrior Race -- Lawrence James - The thesis is either that the British have won a lot of wars because they were so drunk, or in spite of being so drunk. I'm still not sure.

I was curious about Warrior Race. Looked interesting. Also, judging by your list, might I suggest the Black Company series by Glen Cook. It is a fantasy book series that follows a mercenary company that sell their services to all sides. The main themes in the books are based on comradary and a strict sense of honor, and determination oh and don't forget revenge.

It's been good so far. I'm just a few chapters in, and it still reads pretty disjointedly. So, I'm not sure if that clears up or not as it goes on, but the story moves along pretty quickly.
