Ok so its nowhere NEAR local, but there are a few people probably moving north to be in DC or working for a defense contractor and looking for a rediculously awesome place to live for realatively cheap (Up here rent is pretty expensive {though not as bad as NYC or Cali})...I'm moving back to Raleigh in August and the room will be available late august... but I started looking for places this time last year when I was moving up. Details:Waterfront Downtown Historic district House built in 1904 renovated in the early 90'sYou would be getting the Master Bedroom which is 13x17 with private bath and 9' ceiling3 very cool professional roomates, that are all bachelors, very easy going, respectful, clean, and responsible, and fun to go out with.Maid service comes every 3 weeks to clean the downstairs common areas and the bathrooms.3 stories + cellarBoat slip, and the house has a boat (which I got working...)3 blocks from the city dock area (main part of downtown annopolis)Rent is only $650 which if you start looking up here you will find is stupid cheap considering everything... I commute to Linthicum/elkridge (Northrop Grumman) and it takes 30-35minutesIt would take ~45 minutes to get to most of DC.I chose to live in Annapolis b/c its a VERY pretty town and VERY safe town compared to Baltimore and DC.View from the bedroom windowI'll post more pictures later when I get home.[Edited on May 14, 2007 at 12:07 PM. its not uber cheap... you can live in the ghetto and get shot at for $400/month... but $650 up here is like paying ~$250 in raleigh.most people I know pay $750 and one guy I know pays $1500 for a single apt in DC
