12/15/2007 11:46:46 PM
Right now we are getting freezing rain... it's not even cool.Took me about 10 minutes to chip the ice off my windshield when I got off work and it feels like walking on glass. And I wanted to go out tonight.
12/15/2007 11:57:12 PM
Your enjoyment of the snow is inversely proportional to the amount of time you spend driving/walking in it.
12/15/2007 11:58:59 PM
what's cool about seeing a jeep with a plow on it?
12/16/2007 12:14:27 AM

Snow would be awesome if they installed heating systems under the roads and sidewalks.

definitely not looking forward to shoveling my driveway in the morning. i think we got around 6" here in central illinois. at least the weather on friday was perfect so i actually made it through o'hare without issue
12/16/2007 2:46:04 AM
send me some snow for christmas
12/16/2007 3:03:49 AM
trick to never need to shovel the drive again - buy a plow and BACK into your garage you can just step on the gas to get out
12/16/2007 6:07:53 AM
i dont think a plow would fit too well on my mazdaexactly 70 days until i move to a place where it never snows
12/16/2007 2:03:19 PM
Freezing rain is melting now, leaving behind a horrible slush. It's heavy and hard to shovel/plow.I can't wait to live somewhere without this crap.
12/16/2007 2:10:04 PM

I'm in Marquette, Michigan, on the Upper Peninsula. While the town of Marquette had 100 inches of snow last year, up the hill the NWS office had 230 inches. Yikes!!
12/16/2007 11:50:09 PM
i lived on tug hill in upstate new york, average about 300 inches of snow a year
12/16/2007 11:56:43 PM
side streets, esp when you have to stop every block, are a pain in the assbut the 400-block streets/major arterials seem to be ok
12/16/2007 11:59:18 PM
Tug Hill = the win. I hope you weren't there last winter!
