I've accepted that it's the man's job to sit and wolf it down no matter how bad it tastes.

And really, it's not so much about the methods as where the skillz were learned and the materials available. My apartment never has enough stuff to whip up a good home cooked meal.

I think I know some good stuff, and I can be resourceful. But I don't have spices, sticks of butter, flower, measuring thing-a-mabobs, I never use a dishwasher, and to be honest I rarely use proper silverware when by myself. Most really cool things I can make aren't even "dinner" foods.

As evidenced by my ex GFs, a woman can easily go nazi on a kitchen. Seriously, it's scary.
